Genesis 30:22-34
22Then 1GodH430 rememberedH2142 RachelH7354, and GodH430 listenedH8085 to her and 2openedH6605 her wombH7358. 23So she conceivedH2029 and gaveH3205 birthH3205 to a sonH1121, and saidH559, “GodH430 has 3takenH622 awayH622 my disgraceH2781.” 24And she namedH7121H8034 him JosephH3130, sayingH559, “4May the LordH3068 5giveH3254 me anotherH312 sonH1121.”
25Now it cameH1961 aboutH1961, whenH3512 RachelH7354 had givenH3205 birthH3205 to JosephH3130, that JacobH3290 saidH559 to LabanH3837, “6SendH7971 me awayH7971, so that I may goH1980 to my own placeH4725 and to my own countryH776. 26GiveH5414 me my wivesH802 and my childrenH3206 7for whomH834 I have servedH5647 you, and let me goH1980; for you yourselfH859 knowH3045 my serviceH5656 whichH834 I have 8renderedH5647 you.” 27But LabanH3837 saidH559 to him, “IfH518 9it pleasesH4672H2580 you atH4994 allH4994, stay with me; I have determinedH5172 byH5172 divinationH5172 10that the LordH3068 has blessedH1288 me on your accountH1558.” 28He 11continuedH559, “12NameH5344 me your wagesH7939, and I will giveH5414 them.” 29But Jacob saidH559 to him, “13You yourselfH859 knowH3045 howH854H834 I have servedH5647 you and howH854H834 your livestockH4735 have 14faredH1961 with me. 30For you hadH1961 littleH4592 beforeH6440 15I came, and it has 16increasedH6555 to a multitudeH7230, and the LordH3068 has blessedH1288 you 17wherever I turnedH7272. But nowH6258, whenH4970 shall I provideH6213 for my own householdH1004 alsoH1571?” 31So he saidH559, “WhatH4100 shall I giveH5414 you?” And JacobH3290 saidH559, “You shall not giveH5414 me anythingH3972. IfH518 you will doH6213 thisH2088 one thingH1697 for me, I will againH7725 pastureH7462 and keepH8104 your flockH6629: 32let me passH5674 through your entireH3605 flockH6629 todayH3117, removingH5493 from thereH8033 everyH3605 18speckledH5348 or spottedH2921 sheepH7716 and everyH3605 blackH2345 sheepH7716 among the lambsH3775, and the spottedH2921 or speckledH5348 among the goatsH5795; and those shall be my wagesH7939. 33So my 19honestyH6666 will answerH6030 for me laterH4279H3117, whenH3588 you comeH935 concerningH5921 my 20wagesH7939. EveryH3605 oneH3605 that is not speckledH5348 or spottedH2921 among the goatsH5795, or blackH2345 among the lambsH3775, if found with me, will be considered stolenH1589.” 34LabanH3837 saidH559, “21GoodH2005, let it be according to your wordH1697.”
