Genesis 22:2-14

So the twoH8147 of them walkedH1980 on togetherH3164. 7IsaacH3327 spokeH559 to his fatherH1 AbrahamH85 and saidH559, “My fatherH1!” And he saidH559, “HereH2009 I am, my sonH1121.” And he saidH559, “LookH2009, the fireH784 and the woodH6086, but whereH346 is the 5lambH7716 for the burntH5930 offeringH5930?” 8AbrahamH85 saidH559, “GodH430 will 6provideH7200 for Himself the lambH7716 for the burntH5930 offeringH5930, my sonH1121.” So the twoH8147 of them walkedH1980 on togetherH3164.

9Then they cameH935 to 7the placeH4725 of whichH834 GodH430 had toldH559 him; and AbrahamH85 builtH1129 8the altarH4196 thereH8033 and arrangedH6186 the woodH6086, and boundH6123 his sonH1121 IsaacH3327 and 9laidH7760 him on the altarH4196, on topH4605 of the woodH6086. 10And AbrahamH85 reachedH7971 outH7971 with his handH3027 and tookH3947 the knifeH3979 to 10slaughterH7819 his sonH1121. 11But 11the angelH4397 of the LordH3068 calledH7121 to him from heavenH8064 and saidH559, “AbrahamH85, AbrahamH85!” And he saidH559, “HereH2009 I am.” 12He saidH559, “Do not reachH7971 outH7971 your handH3027 againstH413 the boyH5288, and do not doH6213 anythingH3972 to him; for nowH6258 12I knowH3045 that you 13fearH3372 GodH430, since you have not withheldH2820 14your sonH1121, your onlyH3173 sonH3173, from Me.” 13Then AbrahamH85 raisedH5375 his eyesH5869 and lookedH7200, and beholdH2009, behindH310 him was a ramH352 caughtH270 in the thicketH5442 by its hornsH7161; and AbrahamH85 wentH1980 and tookH3947 the ramH352 and offeredH5927 it upH5927 as a burntH5930 offeringH5930 inH8478 the placeH8478 ofH8478 his sonH1121. 14And AbrahamH85 namedH7121H8034 that placeH4725 15The LordH3068 Will ProvideH7200, as it is saidH559 to this dayH3117, “On the mountainH2022 of the LordH3068 16it will 17be providedH7200.”
