Genesis 19:24-38
Then the LordH3068 1rainedH4305 brimstoneH1614 and fireH784 on SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017 from the LordH3068 out of heavenH8064, 25and 2He overthrewH2015 thoseH411 citiesH5892, and allH3605 the surroundingH3603 areaH3603, and allH3605 the inhabitantsH3427 of the citiesH5892, and whatH6780 grewH6780 on the groundH127. 26But 3Lot’s wifeH802, from behindH310 him, 4lookedH5027 back, and she becameH1961 a pillarH5333 of saltH4417.
Now AbrahamH85 gotH7925 upH7925 earlyH7925 in the morningH1242 and went to 5the placeH4725 whereH834H8033 he had stoodH5975 beforeH6440 the LordH3068; 28and he lookedH8259 downH8259 towardH5921H6440 SodomH5467 and GomorrahH6017, and towardH5921H6440 allH3605 the landH776 of the surroundingH3603 areaH3603; and 6beholdH2009, he sawH7200 7the smokeH7008 of the landH776 ascendedH5927 like the smokeH7008 of a 8furnaceH3536.
So it cameH1961 aboutH1961, when GodH430 destroyedH7843 the citiesH5892 of the surroundingH3603 areaH3603, that 9GodH430 rememberedH2142 AbrahamH85, and 10sentH7971 LotH3876 outH7971 of the midstH8432 of the destructionH2018, when He overthrewH2015 the citiesH5892 in whichH834 LotH3876 had livedH3427.
Now LotH3876 wentH5927 upH5927 from ZoarH6820 with his twoH8147 daughtersH1323 and 11stayedH3427 in the 12mountainsH2022, becauseH3588 he wasH3372 afraidH3372 to stayH3427 in ZoarH6820; and he stayedH3427 in a caveH4631, he and his twoH8147 daughtersH1323. 31Then the firstbornH1067 saidH559 to the youngerH6810, “Our fatherH1 isH2204 oldH2204, and thereH369 isH369 notH369 a manH376 13on earthH776 to 1415haveH935 relationsH935 withH935 us according to the customH1870 of allH3605 the earthH776. 32ComeH1980, 16let’s makeH8248 our fatherH1 drinkH8248 wineH3196, and let’s sleepH7901 with him so that we may keepH2421 17our familyH2233 aliveH2421 throughH4480 our fatherH1.” 33So they madeH8248 their fatherH1 drinkH8248 wineH3196 that nightH3915, and the firstbornH1067 wentH935 inH935 and sleptH7901 with her fatherH1; and he did not knowH3045 when she layH7901 downH7901 or gotH6965 upH6965. 34On the followingH4283 dayH4283, the firstbornH1067 saidH559 to the youngerH6810, “LookH2005, I sleptH7901 lastH570 nightH570 with my fatherH1; let’s makeH8248 him drinkH8248 wineH3196 tonightH3915 tooH1571, then you goH935 inH935 and sleepH7901 with him, so that we may keepH2421 18our familyH2233 aliveH2421 throughH4480 our fatherH1.” 35So they hadH8248 their fatherH1 drinkH8248 wineH3196 that nightH3915 tooH1571, and the youngerH6810 gotH6965 upH6965 and sleptH7901 with him; and he did not knowH3045 when she layH7901 downH7901 or gotH6965 upH6965. 36And so bothH8147 of the daughtersH1323 of LotH3876 conceivedH2029 by their fatherH1. 37The firstbornH1067 gaveH3205 birthH3205 to a sonH1121, and namedH7121H8034 him 19MoabH4124; he is the fatherH1 of the MoabitesH4124 to this dayH3117. 38As for the youngerH6810, she alsoH1571 gaveH3205 birthH3205 to a sonH1121, and namedH7121H8034 him Ben-ammiH1151; he is the fatherH1 of 20the sonsH1121 of 21AmmonH5983 to this dayH3117.
