Exodus 8:5-20
51Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “SayH559 to AaronH175, ‘2ExtendH5186 your handH3027 with your staffH4294 overH5921 the riversH5104, overH5921 the 3streamsH2975, and overH5921 the poolsH98, and make frogsH6854 comeH5927 upH5927 on the landH776 of EgyptH4714.’” 6So AaronH175 extendedH5186 his handH3027 overH5921 the watersH4325 of EgyptH4714, and the 45frogsH6854 cameH5927 upH5927 and coveredH3680 the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 7However, 6the soothsayerH2748 priestsH2748 didH6213 the sameH3651 with their secretH3909 artsH3909, 7making frogsH6854 comeH5927 upH5927 on the landH776 of EgyptH4714.
8Then PharaohH6547 8calledH7121 for MosesH4872 and AaronH175 and saidH559, “9PleadH6279 with the LordH3068 10to removeH5493 the frogsH6854 from me and from my peopleH5971; and 11I will letH7971 the peopleH5971 goH7971, so that they may sacrificeH2076 to the LordH3068.” 9And MosesH4872 saidH559 to PharaohH6547, “12TheH6286 honorH6286 isH6286 yoursH6286 to tell me: whenH4970 shall I pleadH6279 for you and your servantsH5650 and your peopleH5971, 13that the frogsH6854 be destroyedH3772 from you and your housesH1004, that they be leftH7604 onlyH7534 in the NileH2975?”
10Then he saidH559, “TomorrowH4279.” So he saidH559, “May it be according to your wordH1697, soH4616 thatH4616 you may knowH3045 that thereH369 isH369 14noH369 oneH369 like the LordH3068 our GodH430. 11The 15frogsH6854 will departH5493 from you and your housesH1004, and from your servantsH5650 and your peopleH5971; they will be leftH7604 onlyH7534 in the NileH2975.” 12Then MosesH4872 and AaronH175 wentH3318 outH3318 from PharaohH6547, and 16MosesH4872 criedH6817 outH6817 to the LordH3068 concerningH5921H1697 the frogsH6854 whichH834 He had 17inflictedH7760 upon PharaohH6547. 13The LordH3068 didH6213 according to the wordH1697 of MosesH4872, and the frogsH6854 diedH4191 out of the housesH1004, the courtyardsH2691, and the fieldsH7704. 14So they piledH6651 them in heapsH2563, and the landH776 stankH887. 15But when PharaohH6547 sawH7200 that there was reliefH7309, he 18hardenedH3513 his heartH3820 and 19did not listenH8085 to them, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had saidH1696.
16Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “SayH559 to AaronH175, ‘ExtendH5186 your staffH4294 and strikeH5221 the dustH6083 of the earthH776, so that it may turnH1961 into 20gnatsH3654 through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714.’” 17They didH6213 soH3651; and AaronH175 extendedH5186 his handH3027 with his staffH4294 and struckH5221 the dustH6083 of the earthH776, and there were 21gnatsH3654 on every 22personH120 and animalH929. AllH3605 the dustH6083 of the earthH776 turnedH1961 into 2324gnatsH3654 through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 18The soothsayerH2748 priestsH2748 triedH6213 with their secretH3909 artsH3909 to produceH3318 25gnatsH3654, but 26they couldH3201 not; so there were 27gnatsH3654 on every personH120 and animalH929. 19Then the soothsayerH2748 priestsH2748 saidH559 to PharaohH6547, “28ThisH1931 is the fingerH676 of GodH430.” But Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 was 29hardenedH2388, and he did not listenH8085 to them, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had saidH1696.
20Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “30RiseH7925 earlyH7925 in the morningH1242 and presentH3320 yourself beforeH6440 PharaohH6547, 31as 32he comesH3318 outH3318 to the waterH4325; and sayH559 to him, ‘ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: “33LetH7971 My peopleH5971 goH7971, so that they may serveH5647 Me.
