16and he saidH559, “When you are helping the HebrewH5680 womenH5680 to giveH3205 birthH3205 and seeH7200 them upon the birthstoolH70, 3ifH518 it is a sonH1121, then you shall putH4191 him toH4191 deathH4191; but ifH518 it is a daughterH1323, then she shall liveH2421.”
17But the midwivesH3205 45fearedH3372 GodH430, and 6did not doH6213 as the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 had 7commandedH1696 them, but let the boysH3206 liveH2421.
