Deuteronomy 7:6-16
6For you are 1a holyH6918 peopleH5971 to the LordH3068 your GodH430; the LordH3068 your GodH430 has chosenH977 you to be 2a peopleH5971 for His personalH5459 possessionH5459 out of allH3605 the peoplesH5971 whoH834 are on the faceH6440 of the 3earthH127.
7“4The LordH3068 did not 5makeH2836 you His belovedH2836 norH3808 chooseH977 you becauseH3588 you wereH7231 greaterH7231 in numberH7231 thanH4480 anyH3605 of the peoplesH5971, sinceH3588 you were the fewestH4592 of allH3605 peoplesH5971, 8but becauseH3588 the LordH3068 lovedH157 you and keptH8104 the 6oathH7621 whichH834 He sworeH7650 to your forefathersH1, 7the LordH3068 broughtH3318 you outH3318 by a mightyH2389 handH3027 and redeemedH6299 you from the houseH1004 of 8slaveryH5650, from the handH3027 of PharaohH6547 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714. 9KnowH3045 therefore that the LordH3068 your GodH430, 9He is GodH430, 10the faithfulH539 GodH410, 11who keepsH8104 12His covenantH1285 and 13His faithfulnessH2617 to a thousandH505 generationsH1755 for those who 14loveH157 Him and keepH8104 His commandmentsH4687; 10but He 15repaysH7999 those who hateH8130 Him to 16their facesH6440, to eliminateH6 17them; He will not hesitateH309 toward him who hatesH8130 Him, He will repayH7999 him to his faceH6440. 11Therefore, you shall keepH8104 the commandmentH4687, the statutesH2706, and the judgmentsH4941 whichH834 I am commandingH6680 you todayH3117, to doH6213 them.
12“18Then it shall comeH1961 aboutH1961, becauseH6118 you listenH8085 to theseH428 judgmentsH4941 and keepH8104 and doH6213 them, that the LordH3068 your GodH430 will keepH8104 19His covenantH1285 with you and 20His faithfulnessH2617 whichH834 He sworeH7650 to your forefathersH1. 13And He will 21loveH157 you, blessH1288 you, and 22makeH7235 you numerousH7235; He will also blessH1288 the fruitH6529 of your wombH990 and the fruitH6529 of your groundH127, your grainH1715, your newH8492 wineH8492, and your oilH3323, the newbornH7698 of your cattleH504 and the offspringH6251 of your flockH6629, 23in the landH127 whichH834 He sworeH7650 to your forefathersH1 to giveH5414 you. 14You shall be blessedH1288 aboveH4480 allH3605 peoplesH5971; there will be noH3808 sterileH6135 maleH6135 or 24infertileH6135 femaleH6135 among you or among your cattleH929. 15And 25the LordH3068 will removeH5493 from you allH3605 sicknessH2483; and He will not inflictH7760 upon you anyH3605 of the harmfulH7451 diseasesH4064 of EgyptH4714 whichH834 you have knownH3045, but He will giveH5414 them to allH3605 who hateH8130 you. 16You shall consumeH398 allH3605 the peoplesH5971 whomH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 will turnH5414 overH5414 to you; 26your eyeH5869 shall not pityH2347 them, norH3808 shall you serveH5647 their godsH430, for that would be 27a snareH4170 to you.
