Deuteronomy 5:19-33
20‘2You shall not giveH6030 falseH7723 testimonyH5707 against your neighborH7453.
21‘3You shall not covetH2530 your neighbor’sH7453 wifeH802, norH3808 desireH183 your neighbor’sH7453 houseH1004, his fieldH7704, his maleH5650 slaveH5650 or his femaleH519 slaveH519, his oxH7794, his donkeyH2543, or anythingH3605 that belongs to your neighborH7453.’
22“TheseH428 wordsH1697 the LordH3068 spokeH1696 to your wholeH3605 assemblyH6951 at the mountainH2022 from the midstH8432 of the fireH784, from the cloudH6051, and from the thickH6205 darknessH6205, with a greatH1419 voiceH6963, and He addedH3254 nothingH3808 moreH3254. 4He wroteH3789 them on twoH8147 tabletsH3871 of stoneH68 and gaveH5414 them to me. 23And when you heardH8085 the voiceH6963 from the midstH8432 of the darknessH2822, while the mountainH2022 was burningH1197 with fireH784, you approachedH7126 me, allH3605 the headsH7218 of your tribesH7626 and your eldersH2205. 24You saidH559, ‘BeholdH2005, the LordH3068 our GodH430 has shownH7200 us His gloryH3519 and His greatnessH1433, and we have heardH8085 His voiceH6963 from the midstH8432 of the fireH784; we have seenH7200 todayH2088H3117 that GodH430 speaksH1696 with mankindH120, yet he livesH2421. 255NowH6258 then, whyH4100 should we dieH4191? For thisH2088 greatH1419 fireH784 will consumeH398 us; ifH518 we hearH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LordH3068 our GodH430 anyH5750 longerH5750, then we will dieH4191! 26For 6whoH4310 is there of 7humanityH1320 whoH834 has heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of the livingH2416 GodH430 speakingH1696 from the midstH8432 of the fireH784, as we have, and livedH2421? 278GoH7126 nearH7126 and listenH8085 to everythingH3605 that the LordH3068 our GodH430 saysH559; then speakH1696 to us everythingH3605 that the LordH3068 our GodH430 speaksH1696 to you, and we will listenH8085 and doH6213 it.’
28“Now the LordH3068 heardH8085 the soundH6963 of your wordsH1697 when you spokeH1696 to me, 9and the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, ‘I have heardH8085 the soundH6963 of the wordsH1697 of thisH2088 peopleH5971 whichH834 they have spokenH1696 to you. They have doneH3190 wellH3190 in allH3605 that they have spokenH1696. 2910IfH4310H5414 onlyH4310H5414 they hadH1961 suchH2088 a heartH3824 in them, to fearH3372 Me and 11keepH8104 allH3605 My commandmentsH4687 alwaysH3605H3117, soH4616 thatH4616 12it would goH3190 wellH3190 with them and with their sonsH1121 foreverH5769! 30GoH1980, sayH559 to them, “ReturnH7725 to your tentsH168.” 3113But as for you, standH5975 hereH6311 by Me, that I may speakH1696 to you allH3605 the commandmentsH4687, the statutesH2706, and the judgmentsH4941 whichH834 you shall teachH3925 them, so that they may 14followH6213 them in the landH776 whichH834 I am givingH5414 them to possessH3423.’ 32So you shall beH8104 carefulH8104 to doH6213 justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 your GodH430 has commandedH6680 you; 15you shall not turnH5493 asideH5493 to the rightH3225 or to the leftH8040. 3316You shall walkH1980 17entirelyH3605 in the wayH1870 whichH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 has commandedH6680 you, 18soH4616 thatH4616 you may liveH2421 and that it may be wellH2895 for you, and that you may prolongH748 your daysH3117 in the landH776 whichH834 you will possessH3423.
