1 Samuel 17:8-10
8He stoodH5975 and shoutedH7121 to the ranksH4634 of IsraelH3478 and saidH559 to them, “WhyH4100 do you comeH3318 outH3318 to drawH6186 upH6186 in battleH4421 formationH4421? Am I not the PhilistineH6430, and you the 1servantsH5650 of SaulH7586? ChooseH1262 a manH376 asH1262 your representativeH1262 and have him comeH3381 downH3381 to me.
92IfH518 he isH3201 ableH3201 to fightH3898 me and 3killH5221 me, then we will becomeH1961 your servantsH5650; but ifH518 I prevailH3201 against him and 4killH5221 him, then you shall becomeH1961 our servantsH5650 and serveH5647 us.”
10Then the PhilistineH6430 saidH559, “5I have defiedH2778 the ranksH4634 of IsraelH3478 thisH2088 dayH3117! GiveH5414 me a manH376, so that we may fightH3898 togetherH3162.”
