Samuel 17:32-36
And DavidH1732 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “1May noH408 one’sH120 heartH3820 failH5307 onH5921 accountH5921 ofH5921 him; 2your servantH5650 will goH1980 and fightH3898 thisH2088 PhilistineH6430!”
But SaulH7586 saidH559 to DavidH1732, “3You areH3201 not ableH3201 to goH1980 againstH413 thisH2088 PhilistineH6430 to fightH3898 him; for you are only a youthH5271, while he has been a warriorH4421 sinceH4480 his youthH5271.”
But DavidH1732 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “Your servantH5650 was tendingH7462 his father’sH1 sheepH6629. When a lionH738 or a bearH1677 cameH935 and tookH5375 a sheepH7716 from the flockH5739,
I wentH3318 outH3318 afterH310 it and 4attackedH5221 it, and 5rescuedH5337 the sheep from its mouthH6310; and when it roseH6965 upH6965 againstH5921 me, I grabbedH2388 it by its maneH2206 and struckH5221 it and killedH4191 it.
Your servantH5650 has 6killedH5221 bothH1571 the lionH738 and the bearH1677; and thisH2088 uncircumcisedH6189 PhilistineH6430 will be like oneH259 of them, sinceH3588 he has defiedH2778 the armiesH4634 of the livingH2416 GodH430.”
