1 Kings 9:2-9

2that 1the LordH3068 appearedH7200 to SolomonH8010 a secondH8145 timeH8145, as He had appearedH7200 to him at GibeonH1391. 3And the LordH3068 saidH559 to him, “2I have heardH8085 your prayerH8605 and your pleaH8467 whichH834 you have offeredH2603 beforeH6440 Me; I have consecratedH6942 thisH2088 houseH1004 whichH834 you have builtH1129, 3by puttingH7760 My nameH8034 thereH8033 foreverH5704H5769, and 4My eyesH5869 and My heartH3820 will be thereH8033 5alwaysH3605H3117. 4As for you, 6ifH518 you walkH1980 beforeH6440 Me as your fatherH1 DavidH1732 walkedH1980, in integrityH8537 of heartH3824 and honestyH3476, actingH6213 in accordance with everythingH3605 that I have commandedH6680 you, and if you keepH8104 My statutesH2706 and My ordinancesH4941, 5then 7I will establishH6965 the throneH3678 of your kingdomH4467 overH5921 IsraelH3478 foreverH5769, justH3512 asH3512 I 8promisedH1696 to your fatherH1 DavidH1732, sayingH559, ‘9You shall not be deprivedH3772 of a manH376 on the throneH3678 of IsraelH3478.’

6“10But ifH518 you or your sonsH1121 indeedH7725 turnH7725 awayH7725 from followingH310 Me, and do not keepH8104 My commandmentsH4687 and My statutesH2708 whichH834 I have placedH5414 beforeH6440 you, but you goH1980 and serveH5647 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipH2331 them, 711then I will cutH3772 IsraelH3478 offH3772 from the landH127 whichH834 I have givenH5414 them, and 12the houseH1004 whichH834 I have consecratedH6942 for My nameH8034, I will 13expelH7971 from My sightH6440. So 14IsraelH3478 will becomeH1961 a sayingH4912 and an objectH8148 ofH8148 derisionH8148 among allH3605 peoplesH5971. 8And thisH2088 houseH1004 will becomeH1961 15a heapH5856 ofH5856 ruinsH5856; everyoneH3605 who passesH5674 by it will beH8074 appalledH8074 and 16hissH8319 and sayH559, ‘17WhyH5921H4100 has the LordH3068 doneH6213 suchH3602 aH3602 thingH3602 to thisH2088 landH776 and thisH2088 houseH1004?’ 9And they will sayH559, ‘18BecauseH5921H834 they abandonedH5800 the LordH3068 their GodH430, whoH834 broughtH3318 their fathersH1 outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and they 19adoptedH2388 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipedH2331 and servedH5647 them, for thatH3651 reasonH3651 the LordH3068 has broughtH935 allH3605 thisH2088 adversityH7463 on them.’”
