1 Kings 9:17-28
17So SolomonH8010 rebuiltH1129 GezerH1507 and the lowerH8481 1Beth-horonH1032, 18and 2BaalathH1191 and TamarH8559 in the wildernessH4057, in the landH776 of Judah, 19and allH3605 the storageH4543 citiesH5892 whichH834 SolomonH8010 hadH1961, that is, 3the citiesH5892 for 4his chariotsH7393 and the citiesH5892 for 56his horsemenH6571, and 78everythingH2837 that it pleasedH2836H2837 SolomonH8010 to buildH1129 in JerusalemH3389, in LebanonH3844, and in allH3605 the landH776 9under his ruleH4475. 20As for allH3605 the peopleH5971 who were leftH3498 of the AmoritesH567, the HittitesH2850, the PerizzitesH6522, the HivitesH2340, and the JebusitesH2983, whoH834 were not of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, 2110their descendantsH1121 whoH834 were leftH3498 afterH310 them in the landH776, 11whomH834 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 wereH3201 unableH3808H3201 to completelyH2763 eliminateH2763, 12from them SolomonH8010 conscriptedH5927 13forcedH4522 laborersH5647H4522, as they are to thisH2088 dayH3117. 22But SolomonH8010 14did not makeH5414 slavesH5650 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478; for they were menH376 of warH4421, his servantsH5650, his commandersH8269, his charioteersH7991, his chariotH7393 commandersH8269, and his horsemenH6571.
23TheseH428 were the 1516chiefH8269 officersH5324 whoH834 were inH5921 chargeH5921 ofH5921 Solomon’sH8010 workH4399, 550H2568H3967H2572, 17who ruledH7287 over the peopleH5971 doingH6213 the workH4399.
24As soonH389 as 18Pharaoh’sH6547 daughterH1323 cameH5927 upH5927 from the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 to her houseH1004 whichH834 Solomon had builtH1129 for her, 19he thenH227 builtH1129 the MilloH4407.
25Now 20threeH7969 timesH6471 a yearH8141 SolomonH8010 offeredH5927 burntH5930 offeringsH5930 and peaceH8002 offeringsH8002 on the altarH4196 whichH834 he had builtH1129 for the LordH3068, burningH6999 incenseH6999 with them on the altar whichH834 was beforeH6440 the LordH3068. So he finishedH7999 the houseH1004.
26KingH4428 SolomonH8010 also builtH6213 a 21fleetH590 ofH590 shipsH590 in 22Ezion-geberH6100, whichH834 is nearH854 ElothH359 on the shoreH8193 of the 23RedH5488 SeaH3220, in the landH776 of EdomH112. 2724And HiramH2438 sentH7971 his servantsH5650 with the fleetH590, sailorsH376H591 who knewH3045 the seaH3220, alongH5973 withH5973 the servantsH5650 of SolomonH8010. 28And they wentH935 to 25OphirH211 and receivedH3947 26420H702H3967H6242 talentsH3603 of goldH2091 from thereH8033, and broughtH935 it to KingH4428 SolomonH8010.
