20As forallכָּל־kol-H3605the peopleהָ֠עָםHa.'omH5971who were leftהַנּוֹתָ֨רha.no.TarH3498of the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֜יha.'e.mo.RiH567,the Hittitesהַחִתִּ֤יha.chi.TiH2850,the Perizzitesהַפְּרִזִּי֙ha.pe.ri.ZiH6522,the Hivitesהַחִוִּ֣יha.chi.ViH2340,and the Jebusitesוְהַיְבוּסִ֔יve.hay.vu.SiH2983,whoאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834were not of the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,

21their descendantsבְּנֵיהֶ֗םbe.nei.HemH1121whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834were leftנֹתְר֤וּno.te.RuH3498afterאַחֲרֵיהֶם֙'a.cha.rei.HemH310them in the landבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776,whomאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478wereH3201unableלֹֽא־lo'-H3808 H3201to completelyH2763eliminateH2763,from them Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010conscriptedוַיַּעֲלֵ֤םvai.ya.'a.LemH5927forcedH4522laborersעֹבֵ֔ד'o.VedH5647 H4522, as they areto thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

22But Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010did not makeנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414slavesעָ֑בֶד'A.vedH5650of the sonsוּמִבְּנֵי֙u.mi.be.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;for they were menH376of warהַמִּלְחָמָ֗הha.mil.cha.MahH4421,his servantsוַעֲבָדָיו֙va.'a.va.DavH5650,his commandersוְשָׂרָ֣יוve.sa.RavH8269,his charioteersוְשָׁלִשָׁ֔יוve.sha.li.ShavH7991,his chariotרִכְבּ֖וֹrikh.BoH7393commandersוְשָׂרֵ֥יve.sa.ReiH8269,and his horsemenוּפָרָשָֽׁיו׃ סu.fa.ra.ShavH6571.
