3Thenאֱדַ֙יִן֙'e.Da.yinH116thisדְּנָ֔הde.NahH1836DanielH1841began distinguishingמִתְנַצַּ֔חmit.na.TzachH5330himselfamongעַל־'al-H5922the commissionersH5632and satrapsH324becauseקֳבֵ֗לko.VelH6903H1768he possessed anextraordinaryיַתִּירָא֙ya.ti.Ra'H3493spiritר֤וּחַRu.achH7308,and the kingH4430intendedעֲשִׁ֔ית'a.ShitH6246to appointלַהֲקָמוּתֵ֖הּla.ha.ka.mu.TehH6966him overעַל־'al-H5922theentireכָּל־kol-H3606kingdomמַלְכוּתָֽא׃mal.khu.Ta'H4437.
4ThenH116the commissionersH5632and satrapsH324begantryingבָעַ֧יִןva.'A.yinH1156to findלְהַשְׁכָּחָ֥הle.hash.ka.ChahH7912a groundH5931ofH5931accusationH5931against DanielH1841regardingמִצַּ֣דmi.TzadH6655governmentמַלְכוּתָ֑אmal.khu.Ta'H4437affairsמַלְכוּתָֽא׃mal.khu.Ta'H4437;but they couldיָכְלִ֣יןya.khe.LinH3202findלְהַשְׁכָּחָ֗הle.hash.ka.ChahH7912noלָא־la'-H3606H3809groundH5931ofH5931accusationH5931or evidence ofcorruptionוּשְׁחִיתָ֜הu.she.chi.TahH7844,becauseH6903H1768he was trustworthyמְהֵימַ֣ןme.hei.ManH540,and noלָ֥אla'H3606H3809negligenceשָׁלוּ֙sha.LuH7960or corruptionוּשְׁחִיתָ֔הu.she.chi.TahH7844was to befoundהִשְׁתְּכַ֖חַתhish.te.Kha.chatH7912in him.
