12Then he broughtH3318the king’sהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶּן־ben-H1121outH3318, andputוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414the crownהַנֵּ֙זֶר֙ha.Ne.zerH5145on him and gave himthe testimonyהָ֣עֵד֔וּתha.'e.DutH5715;and they madeH4427him kingוַיַּמְלִ֥כוּvai.yam.Li.khuH4427and anointedוַיִּמְשָׁחֻ֑הוּvai.yim.sha.Chu.huH4886him, and they clappedוַיַּכּוּ־vai.ya.ku-H5221their handsכָ֔ףKhafH3709and saidוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “Longliveיְחִ֥יye.ChiH2421the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ סha.Me.lekhH4428!”

13When Athaliahעֲתַלְיָ֔ה'a.tal.YahH6271heardוַתִּשְׁמַ֣עva.tish.Ma'H8085the noiseק֥וֹלKolH6963of the guardsהָֽרָצִ֖יןha.ra.TzinH7323and ofthe peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,she cameוַתָּבֹ֥אva.ta.Vo'H935to the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971at the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

14And she lookedוַתֵּ֡רֶאva.Te.re'H7200,and beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009,the kingהַמֶּלֶךְ֩ha.me.leKhH4428was standingעֹמֵ֨ד'o.MedH5975by the pillarהָעַמּ֜וּדha.'a.MudH5982according to the customכַּמִּשְׁפָּ֗טka.mish.PatH4941,with the captainsוְהַשָּׂרִ֤יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269and thetrumpetersוְהַחֲצֹֽצְרוֹת֙ve.ha.cha.tzo.tze.rOtH2689besideאֶל־'el-H413the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428; andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the peopleעַ֤ם'amH5971of the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776were joyfulשָׂמֵ֔חַsa.Me.achH8056and were blowingוְתֹקֵ֖עַve.to.Ke.a'H8628trumpetsבַּחֲצֹֽצְר֑וֹתba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689.Then Athaliahעֲתַלְיָה֙'a.tal.YahH6271toreוַתִּקְרַ֤עva.tik.Ra'H7167her clothesבְּגָדֶ֔יהָbe.ga.Dei.haH899and criedH7121outH7121, “Conspiracyקֶ֥שֶׁרKe.sherH7195!Conspiracyקָֽשֶׁר׃ סKa.sherH7195!”

15And Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֨עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548commandedוַיְצַו֩vay.TzavH6680the captainsשָׂרֵ֥יsa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֣וֹתha.mei.'otH3967who were appointedפְּקֻדֵ֣יpe.ku.DeiH6485over the armyהַחַ֗יִלha.Cha.yilH2428and saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “Bringהוֹצִ֤יאוּho.Tzi.'uH3318her outH3318betweenמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH413 H4480 H1004the ranksלַשְּׂדֵרֹ֔תla.se.de.RotH7713,and whoever followsוְהַבָּ֥א אַחֲרֶ֖יהָve.ha.Ba' 'a.cha.Rei.haH935 H310her, putהָמֵ֣תha.MetH4191toH4191deathתּוּמַ֖תtu.MatH4191with the swordבֶּחָ֑רֶבbe.Cha.revH2719!”For the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559, “She is not to be putH4191toH4191deathH4191at the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

16So theyseizedוַיָּשִׂ֤מוּ יָדַ֔יִםvai.ya.Si.mu ya.Da.yimH7760 H3027her, and whenthey broughtוַתָּב֛וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935her to the horses’הַסּוּסִ֖יםha.su.SimH5483entranceמְב֥וֹאme.Vo'H3996of the king’sהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004, she wasputוַתּוּמַ֖תva.tu.MatH4191toH4191deathH4191thereשָֽׁם׃ סShamH8033.
