Isaiah 14:29-32
29“Do not rejoice, 1Philistia, all of you, Because the rod that 2struck you is broken; For from the serpent’s root a 3viper will come out, And its fruit will be a 4winged serpent.305Those who are most 6helpless will eat, And the poor will lie down in security; I will kill your root with 7famine, And it will kill your survivors.31Wail, you 8gate; cry, you city; 9Melt away, 10Philistia, all of you! For smoke comes from the 11north, And 12there is no straggler in his ranks.32What answer will one give the 13messengers of the nation? That 14the Lord has founded Zion, And 15the poor of His people will take refuge in it.”
