Hebrews 4:9-16
9Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10For the one who has entered His rest has himself also 1rested from his works, as 2God did from His. 11Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same 3example of 4disobedience. 12For 5the word of God is 6living and 7active, and sharper than any two-edged 8sword, even penetrating as far as the division of 9soul and 10spirit, of both joints and marrow, and 11able to 12judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13And 13there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are 14open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom 15we must answer.
14Therefore, since we have a great 16high priest who has 17passed through the heavens, Jesus 18the Son of God, let’s hold firmly to our 19confession. 15For we do not have 20a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been 21tempted in all things just as we are, yet 22without sin. 16Therefore let’s 23approach the throne of grace with 24confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
