Ezekiel 36:1-7
“And you, sonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 to the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478 and sayH559, ‘O mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LordH3068.
ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 1GodH3068, “BecauseH3282 the enemyH340 has spokenH559 againstH5921 you, ‘AhaH1889!’ and, ‘The everlastingH5769 23heightsH1116 have becomeH1961 our possessionH4181,’
thereforeH3651 prophesyH5012 and sayH559, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, “4For good reasonH3282 they have madeH8074 you 5desolateH8074 and crushedH7602 you from everyH5439 sideH5439, that you would becomeH1961 a possessionH4181 of the restH7611 of the nationsH1471 and you have been takenH5927 up in the 67talkH8193 and the whisperingH1681 of the peopleH5971.”’”
ThereforeH3651, O 8mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LordH136 GodH3068. ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068 to the mountainsH2022 and to the hillsH1389, to the ravinesH650 and to the valleysH1516, to the desolateH8074 wastesH2723 and to the forsakenH5800 citiesH5892 whichH834 have becomeH1961 a 9preyH957 and a derisionH3933 to the restH7611 of the nationsH1471 whichH834 are roundH5439 aboutH5439,
thereforeH3651 thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, “SurelyH518H3808 in the fireH784 of My 10jealousyH7068 I have spokenH1696 againstH5921 the 11restH7611 of the nationsH1471, and againstH5921 allH3605 EdomH112, whoH834 12appropriatedH5414 My landH776 for themselves as a possessionH4181 with wholeheartedH3605H3824 13joyH8057 and with scornH7589 of soulH5315, to driveH1644 it out for a preyH957.”
ThereforeH3651 prophesyH5012 concerningH5921 the landH127 of IsraelH3478 and sayH559 to the mountainsH2022 and to the hillsH1389, to the ravinesH650 and to the valleysH1516, “ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, ‘BeholdH2009, I have spokenH1696 in My jealousyH7068 and in My wrathH2534 becauseH3282 you have 14enduredH5375 the insultsH3639 of the nationsH1471.’
ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, ‘I have 15swornH5375H3027 that surelyH518H3808 the nationsH1471 whichH834 are aroundH5439 you will themselvesH1992 endureH5375 their insultsH3639.
