Ezekiel 3:18-27
18When I sayH559 to the wickedH7563, ‘You will surelyH4191 dieH4191,’ and you do not warnH2094 him or speakH1696 out to warnH2094 the wickedH7563 from his wickedH7563 wayH1870 that he may liveH2421, that wickedH7563 manH7563 shall dieH4191 in his iniquityH5771, but his 1bloodH1818 I will requireH1245 at your handH3027. 19Yet ifH3588 you have 2warnedH2094 the wickedH7563 and he does not turnH7725 from his wickednessH7562 or from his wickedH7563 wayH1870, he shall dieH4191 in his iniquityH5771; but you have 3deliveredH5337 yourselfH5315. 20Again, 4when a righteousH6662 manH6662 turnsH7725 awayH7725 from his righteousnessH6664 and commitsH6213 iniquityH5766, and I placeH5414 an 5obstacleH4383 beforeH6440 him, he will dieH4191; sinceH3588 you have not warnedH2094 him, he shall dieH4191 in his sinH2403, and his righteousH6666 deedsH6666 whichH834 he has doneH6213 shall not be rememberedH2142; but his bloodH1818 I will requireH1245 at your handH3027. 21However, ifH3588 you have 6warnedH2094 7the righteousH6662 manH6662 that the righteousH6662 should not sinH2398 and he does not sinH2398, he shall surelyH2421 liveH2421 becauseH3588 he tookH2094 warningH2094; and you have deliveredH5337 yourselfH5315.”
22The handH3027 of the LordH3068 was on me thereH8033, and He saidH559 to me, “GetH6965 up, goH3318 out to the plainH1237, and thereH8033 I will 8speakH1696 to you.” 23So I gotH6965 up and wentH3318 out to the plainH1237; and beholdH2009, the 9gloryH3519 of the LordH3068 was standingH5975 thereH8033, like the gloryH3519 whichH834 10I sawH7200 by the riverH5104 ChebarH3529, and I fellH5307 on my faceH6440. 24The 11SpiritH7307 then enteredH935 me and made me standH5975 on my feetH7272, and He spokeH1696 with me and saidH559 to me, “GoH935, shutH5462 yourself up in your houseH1004. 25As for you, sonH1121 of manH120, they will 12putH5414 ropesH5688 on you and bindH631 you with them so that you cannotH3808 goH3318 out amongH8432 them. 26Moreover, 13I will make your tongueH3956 stickH1692 to 14the roofH2441 of your mouthH2441 so that you will be muteH481 and cannotH3808 be a manH376 who rebukesH3198 them, for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. 27But 15when I speakH1696 to you, I will openH6605 your mouthH6310 and you will sayH559 to them, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 16GodH3068.’ He who hearsH8085, let him hearH8085; and he who refusesH2310, let him refuseH2308; 17for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004.
