Ezekiel 2:3-8
3Then He saidH559 to me, “SonH1121 of manH120, I am sendingH7971 you to the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, to a rebelliousH4775 peopleH1471 whoH834 have 1rebelledH4775 against Me; 2they and their fathersH1 have transgressedH6586 against Me to thisH2088 veryH6106 dayH3117. 4I am sendingH7971 you to them who are 34stubbornH7186H6440 and obstinateH2389H3820 childrenH1121, and you shall sayH559 to them, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 5GodH3068.’ 5As for them, 6whetherH518 they listenH8085 orH518 7not--for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004--they will 8knowH3045 that a prophetH5030 has beenH1961 amongH8432 them. 6And you, sonH1121 of manH120, 9neitherH408 fearH3372 them norH408 fearH3372 their wordsH1697, thoughH3588 10thistlesH5621 and thornsH5544 are with you and you sitH3427 on scorpionsH6137; neitherH408 fearH3372 their wordsH1697 norH408 be dismayedH2865 at their presenceH6440, for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. 7But you shall 11speakH1696 My wordsH1697 to them 12whetherH518 they listenH8085 orH518 13not, for they are rebelliousH4805.
8“Now you, sonH1121 of manH120, listenH8085 to whatH834 I am speakingH1696 to you; do not be rebelliousH4805 like that rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. OpenH6475 your mouthH6310 and 14eatH398 whatH834 I am givingH5414 you.”
