2 Kings 9:4-13

4So 1the youngH5288 manH5288, the servantH5288 of the prophetH5030, wentH1980 to Ramoth-gileadH7433. 5When he cameH935, beholdH2009, the captainsH8269 of the armyH2428 were sittingH3427, and he saidH559, “I have a wordH1697 for you, O captainH8269.” And JehuH3058 saidH559, “2For whichH4310 one of us?” And he saidH559, “For you, O captainH8269.” 6He aroseH6965 and wentH935 into the houseH1004, and he pouredH3332 the oilH8081 on his headH7218 and saidH559 to him, “ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, ‘3I have anointedH4886 you kingH4428 overH413 the peopleH5971 of the LordH3068, even overH413 IsraelH3478. 7You shall strikeH5221 the houseH1004 of AhabH256 your masterH113, 4that I may avengeH5358 5the bloodH1818 of My servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, and the bloodH1818 of allH3605 the servantsH5650 of the LordH3068, 6at the handH3027 of JezebelH348. 8For the wholeH3605 houseH1004 of AhabH256 shall perishH6, and 7I will cutH3772 offH3772 from AhabH256 8everyH8366 maleH8366H7023 person 9both bondH6113 and freeH5800 in IsraelH3478. 910I will makeH5414 the houseH1004 of AhabH256 like the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 the sonH1121 of NebatH5028, and 11like the houseH1004 of BaashaH1201 the sonH1121 of AhijahH281. 1012The dogsH3611 shall eatH398 JezebelH348 in the territoryH2506 of JezreelH3157, and noneH369 shall buryH6912 her.’” Then he openedH6605 the doorH1817 and fledH5127.

11Now JehuH3058 cameH3318 out to the servantsH5650 of his masterH113, and one saidH559 to him, “13Is all wellH7965? WhyH4069 did thisH2088 14madH7696 fellowH7696 comeH935 to you?” And he saidH559 to them, “You knowH3045 very well the manH376 and his talkH7879.” 12They saidH559, “It is a lieH8267, tellH5046 us nowH4994.” And he saidH559, “ThusH2088 and thusH2088 he saidH559 to me, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, “I have anointedH4886 you kingH4428 overH413 IsraelH3478.”’” 13Then 15they hurriedH4116 and eachH376 manH376 tookH3947 his garmentH899 and placedH7760 it underH8478 him on the bareH1634 stepsH4609, and 16blewH8628 the trumpetH7782, sayingH559, “JehuH3058 is kingH4427!”
