2 Kings 5:20-27

20But 1GehaziH1522, the servantH5288 of ElishaH477 the manH376 of GodH430, 2thoughtH559, “BeholdH2009, my masterH113 has sparedH2820 thisH2088 NaamanH5283 the ArameanH761, 3by not receivingH3947 from his handsH3027 whatH834 he broughtH935. 4As the LordH3068 livesH2416, I will runH7323 afterH310 him and takeH3947 somethingH3972 from him.” 21So GehaziH1522 pursuedH7291 NaamanH5283. When NaamanH5283 sawH7200 one runningH7323 afterH310 him, he cameH5307 downH5307 from the chariotH4818 to meetH7122 him and saidH559, “Is all wellH7965?” 22He saidH559, “5All is wellH7965. My masterH113 has sentH7971 me, sayingH559, ‘BeholdH2009, justH2088 nowH6258 twoH8147 youngH5288 menH5288 of the sonsH1121 of the prophetsH5030 have comeH935 to me from 6the hillH2022 countryH2022 of EphraimH669. PleaseH4994 giveH5414 them a talentH3603 of silverH3701 and 7twoH8147 changesH2487 of clothesH899.’” 23NaamanH5283 saidH559, “8Be pleasedH2974 to takeH3947 two talentsH3603.” And he urgedH6555 him, and boundH6696 two talentsH3603 of silverH3701 in twoH8147 bagsH2754 with twoH8147 changesH2487 of clothesH899 and gaveH5414 them to twoH8147 of his servantsH5288; and they carriedH5375 them beforeH6440 him. 24When he cameH935 to the 9hillH6076, he tookH3947 them from their handH3027 and 10depositedH6485 them in the houseH1004, and he sentH7971 the menH376 awayH7971, and they departedH1980. 25But he wentH935 in and stoodH5975 beforeH413 his masterH113. And ElishaH477 saidH559 to him, “WhereH575 have you been, GehaziH1522?” And he saidH559, “11Your servantH5650 wentH1980 nowhereH3808H575.”

26Then he saidH559 to him, “Did not my heartH3820 goH1980 with you, whenH3512 the manH376 turnedH2015 from his chariotH4818 to meetH7122 you? 12Is it a timeH6256 to receiveH3947 moneyH3701 and to receiveH3947 clothesH899 and oliveH2132 grovesH2132 and vineyardsH3754 and sheepH6629 and oxenH1241 and maleH5650 and femaleH8198 servantsH5650H8198? 27Therefore, the leprosyH6883 of NaamanH5283 shall clingH1692 to you and to your 13descendantsH2233 foreverH5769.” So he wentH3318 out from his presenceH6440 14a leperH6879 as white as snowH7950.
