3Then SolomonH8010 wentH1980 to Hamath-zobahH2578 and capturedH2388 it. 4He builtH1129 TadmorH8412 in the wildernessH4057 and allH3605 the storageH4543 citiesH5892 whichH834 he had builtH1129 in HamathH2574. 5He also builtH1129 upperH5945 3Beth-horonH1032 and lowerH8481 Beth-horonH1032, 4fortifiedH4692 citiesH5892 with wallsH2346, gatesH1817 and barsH1280; 6and BaalathH1191 and allH3605 the storageH4543 citiesH5892 that SolomonH8010 hadH1961, and allH3605 the citiesH5892 for 5his chariotsH7393 and citiesH5892 for 6his horsemenH6571, and allH3605 that it pleasedH2836H2837 SolomonH8010 to buildH1129 in JerusalemH3389, in LebanonH3844, and in allH3605 the landH776 7under his ruleH4475.

1111Then SolomonH8010 broughtH5927 Pharaoh’sH6547 daughterH1323 up from the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 to the houseH1004 whichH834 he had builtH1129 for her, for he saidH559, “My wifeH802 shall not dwellH3427 in the houseH1004 of DavidH1732 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, becauseH3588 12the placesH1992 are holyH6944 whereH834 the arkH727 of the LordH3068 has enteredH935.”

14Now according to the ordinanceH4941 of his fatherH1 DavidH1732, he appointedH5975 19the divisionsH4256 of the priestsH3548 for their serviceH5656, and 20the LevitesH3881 for their dutiesH4931 of praiseH1984 and ministeringH8334 beforeH5048 the priestsH3548 according to the dailyH3117 ruleH1697, and 21the gatekeepersH7778 by their divisionsH4256 at everyH8179 gateH8179; for 22DavidH1732 the manH376 of GodH430 had soH3651 commandedH4687. 15And they did not departH5493 from the commandmentH4687 of the kingH4428 to the priestsH3548 and LevitesH3881 in anyH3605 mannerH1697 or concerning the storehousesH214.

16Thus allH3605 the workH4399 of SolomonH8010 was carriedH3559 out 23from the dayH3117 of the foundationH4143 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068, and untilH5704 it was finishedH3615. So the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 was completedH8003.

17ThenH227 SolomonH8010 wentH1980 to 24Ezion-geberH6100 and to 25ElothH359 on the seashoreH3220H8193 in the landH776 of EdomH112. 18And HuramH2361 by his servantsH5650 sentH7971 him shipsH591 and servantsH5650 who knewH3045 the seaH3220; and they wentH935 with Solomon’sH8010 servantsH5650 to OphirH211, and 26tookH3947 from thereH8033 fourH702 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 talentsH3603 of goldH2091 and broughtH935 them to KingH4428 SolomonH8010.
