His Good Reign

3The LordH3068 was with JehoshaphatH3092 becauseH3588 he 4followedH1980 the exampleH1870 of his fatherH1 David’sH1732 earlierH7223 days and did not seekH1875 the BaalsH1168, 4but soughtH1875 the GodH430 of his fatherH1, 5followedH1980 His commandmentsH4687, 6and did not actH4639 as IsraelH3478 didH4639. 5So the LordH3068 establishedH3559 the kingdomH4467 in his 7controlH3027, and allH3605 JudahH3063 broughtH5414 tributeH4503 to JehoshaphatH3092, and 8he hadH1961 greatH7230 richesH6239 and honorH3519. 69He tookH1361 greatH1361 prideH1361H3820 in the waysH1870 of the LordH3068 and againH5750 10removedH5493 the highH1116 placesH1116 and the AsherimH842 from JudahH3063.
