2 Chronicles 7:19-22
19“1But ifH518 you turnH7725 awayH7725 and forsakeH5800 My statutesH2708 and My commandmentsH4687 whichH834 I have setH5414 beforeH6440 you, and goH1980 and serveH5647 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipH7812 them,
202then I will uprootH5428 you from My landH127 whichH834 I have givenH5414 3you, and thisH2088 houseH1004 whichH834 I have consecratedH6942 for My nameH8034 I will castH7993 out of My sightH6440 and I will makeH5414 it 4a proverbH4912 and a bywordH8148 among allH3605 peoplesH5971.
21As for thisH2088 houseH1004, whichH834 was exaltedH5945, everyoneH3605 who passesH5674 by it will be astonishedH8074 and sayH559, ‘5WhyH4100 has the LordH3068 doneH6213 thusH3602 to thisH2088 landH776 and to thisH2088 houseH1004?’
22And they will sayH559, ‘BecauseH5921H834 6they forsookH5800 the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1 whoH834 broughtH3318 them from the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and they adoptedH2388 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipedH7812 them and servedH5647 them; thereforeH5921H3651 He has broughtH935 allH3605 thisH2088 adversityH7463 on them.’”
