1 Kings 21:10-16
10and seatH3427 twoH8147 1worthlessH1100 menH376 beforeH5048 him, and let them testifyH5749 against him, sayingH559, ‘2You cursedH1288 GodH430 and the kingH4428.’ Then takeH3318 him out and 3stoneH5619 him 4to deathH4191.”
11So the menH376 of his cityH5892, the eldersH2205 and the noblesH2715 whoH834 livedH3427 in his cityH5892, didH6213 as JezebelH348 had sentH7971 word to them, justH3512 as it was writtenH3789 in the lettersH5612 whichH834 she had sentH7971 them. 12They 5proclaimedH7121 a fastH6685 and seatedH3427 NabothH5022 at the headH7218 of the peopleH5971. 13Then the twoH8147 worthlessH1100 menH376 cameH935 in and satH3427 beforeH5048 him; and the worthlessH1100 menH376 testifiedH5749 against him, even against NabothH5022, beforeH5048 the peopleH5971, sayingH559, “NabothH5022 cursedH1288 GodH430 and the kingH4428.” 6So they tookH3318 him outsideH4480H2351 the cityH5892 and stonedH5619 him 7to deathH4191 with stonesH68. 14Then they sentH7971 word to JezebelH348, sayingH559, “NabothH5022 has been stonedH5619 and is deadH4191.”
15When JezebelH348 heardH8085 that NabothH5022 had been stonedH5619 and was deadH4191, JezebelH348 saidH559 to AhabH256, “AriseH6965, takeH3423 possessionH3423 of the vineyardH3754 of NabothH5022, the JezreeliteH3158, whichH834 he refusedH3985 to giveH5414 you for moneyH3701; for NabothH5022 is not aliveH2416, but deadH4191.” 16When AhabH256 heardH8085 that NabothH5022 was deadH4191, AhabH256 aroseH6965 to goH3381 downH3381 to the vineyardH3754 of NabothH5022 the JezreeliteH3158, to takeH3423 possessionH3423 of it.
