1 Kings 19:13-21

13When ElijahH452 heardH8085 it, 1he wrappedH3874 his faceH6440 in his mantleH155 and wentH3318 out and stoodH5975 in the entranceH6607 of the caveH4631. And beholdH2009, 2a voiceH6963 came to him and saidH559, “WhatH4100 are you doing hereH6311, ElijahH452?” 14Then he saidH559, “3I have beenH7065 veryH7065 zealousH7065 for the LordH3068, the GodH430 of hostsH6635; for the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 have forsakenH5800 Your covenantH1285, tornH2040 downH2040 Your altarsH4196 and killedH2026 Your prophetsH5030 with the swordH2719. And I aloneH905 am leftH3498; and they seekH1245 my lifeH5315, to takeH3947 it away.”

15The LordH3068 saidH559 to him, “GoH1980, returnH7725 on your wayH1870 to the wildernessH4057 of DamascusH1834, and when you have arrivedH935, 4you shall anointH4886 HazaelH2371 kingH4428 overH5921 AramH758; 16and 5JehuH3058 the sonH1121 of NimshiH5250 you shall anointH4886 kingH4428 overH5921 IsraelH3478; and 6ElishaH477 the sonH1121 of ShaphatH8202 of Abel-meholahH65 you shall anointH4886 as prophetH5030 in your placeH8478. 17It shall comeH1961 about, the 7one who escapesH4422 from the swordH2719 of HazaelH2371, JehuH3058 8shall putH4191 to deathH4191, and the one who escapesH4422 from the swordH2719 of JehuH3058, ElishaH477 shall putH4191 to deathH4191. 189Yet I will leaveH7604 7,000H7651H505 in IsraelH3478, allH3605 the kneesH1290 that have not bowedH3766 to BaalH1168 and everyH3605 mouthH6310 that has not 10kissedH5401 him.”

19So he departedH1980 from thereH8033 and foundH4672 ElishaH477 the sonH1121 of ShaphatH8202, while he was plowingH2790 with twelveH8147H6240 pairsH6776 of oxen beforeH6440 him, and he with the twelfthH8147H6240. And ElijahH452 passedH5674 overH5674 to him and threwH7993 11his mantleH155 on him. 20He leftH5800 the oxenH1241 and ranH7323 afterH310 ElijahH452 and saidH559, “PleaseH4994 12let me kissH5401 my fatherH1 and my motherH517, then I will followH1980H310 you.” And he saidH559 to him, “GoH1980 backH7725 againH7725, for whatH4100 have I doneH6213 to you?” 21So he returnedH7725 from followingH310 him, and tookH3947 the pairH6776 of oxenH1241 and sacrificedH2076 them and 13boiledH1310 their fleshH1320 with the implementsH3627 of the oxenH1241, and gaveH5414 it to the peopleH5971 and they ateH398. Then he aroseH6965 and followedH1980H310 ElijahH452 and ministeredH8334 to him.
