1 Kings 14:19-29
19Now the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of JeroboamH3379, 1howH834 he madeH3898 warH3898 and howH834 he reignedH4427, beholdH2009, they are writtenH3789 in the BookH5612 of the ChroniclesH1697H3117 of the KingsH4428 of IsraelH3478. 20The timeH3117 that JeroboamH3379 reignedH4427 was twenty-twoH6242H8147 yearsH8141; and he sleptH7901 with his fathersH1, and NadabH5070 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his placeH8478.
212Now RehoboamH7346 the sonH1121 of SolomonH8010 reignedH4427 in JudahH3063. RehoboamH7346 was forty-oneH705H259 yearsH8141 oldH1121 when he becameH4427 kingH4427, and he reignedH4427 seventeenH7651H6240 yearsH8141 in JerusalemH3389, 3the cityH5892 whichH834 the LordH3068 had chosenH977 from allH3605 the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478 to putH7760 His nameH8034 thereH8033. And his mother’sH517 nameH8034 was NaamahH5279 the AmmonitessH5985. 224JudahH3063 didH6213 evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LordH3068, and they 5provokedH7065 Him to jealousyH7065 moreH4480 thanH4480 allH3605 that their fathersH1 had doneH6213, with 6the sinsH2403 whichH834 they 7committedH2398. 23For they alsoH1571 builtH1129 for themselves 8highH1116 placesH1116 and sacred 9pillarsH4676 and 1011AsherimH842 on everyH3605 highH1364 hillH1389 and 12beneathH8478 everyH3605 luxuriantH7488 treeH6086. 24There were alsoH1571 13maleH6945 cultH6945 prostitutesH6945 in the landH776. They didH6213 according to allH3605 the abominationsH8441 of the nationsH1471 whichH834 the LordH3068 dispossessedH3423 beforeH4480H6440 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478.
2514Now it happenedH1961 in the fifthH2549 yearH8141 of KingH4428 RehoboamH7346, that ShishakH7895 the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 cameH5927 up againstH5921 JerusalemH3389. 26He tookH3947 away the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 and the treasuresH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and 15he tookH3947 everythingH3605, 1617even takingH3947 allH3605 the shieldsH4043 of goldH2091 whichH834 SolomonH8010 had madeH6213. 27So KingH4428 RehoboamH7346 madeH6213 shieldsH4043 of bronzeH5178 in their placeH8478, and 18committedH6485 them to the 19careH3027 of the commandersH8269 of the 20guardH7323 who guardedH8104 the doorwayH6607 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004. 28Then it happenedH1961 as oftenH1767 as the kingH4428 enteredH935 the houseH1004 of the LordH3068, that the 21guardsH7323 would carryH5375 them and would bringH7725 them backH7725 into the 22guards’H7323 roomH8372.
2923Now the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of RehoboamH7346 and allH3605 that he didH6213, are they not writtenH3789 in the BookH5612 of the ChroniclesH1697H3117 of the KingsH4428 of JudahH3063?
