1 Kings 1:22-27
22BeholdH2009, while she was stillH5750 speakingH1696 with the kingH4428, NathanH5416 the prophetH5030 cameH935 in. 23They toldH5046 the kingH4428, sayingH559, “HereH2009 is NathanH5416 the prophetH5030.” And when he cameH935 in beforeH6440 the kingH4428, he prostratedH7812 himself 1before the kingH4428 with his faceH639 to the groundH776. 24Then NathanH5416 saidH559, “My lordH113 the kingH4428, have you saidH559, ‘AdonijahH138 shall be kingH4427 afterH310 me, and he shall sitH3427 on my throneH3678’? 252For he has goneH3381 downH3381 todayH3117 and has sacrificedH2076 oxenH7794 and fatlingsH4806 and sheepH6629 in abundanceH7230, and has invitedH7121 allH3605 the king’sH4428 sonsH1121 and the commandersH8269 of the armyH6635 and AbiatharH54 the priestH3548, and beholdH2009, they are eatingH398 and drinkingH8354 beforeH6440 him; and they sayH559, ‘3Long liveH2421 KingH4428 AdonijahH138!’ 264But me, even me your servantH5650, and ZadokH6659 the priestH3548 and BenaiahH1141 the sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 and your servantH5650 SolomonH8010, he has not invitedH7121. 27Has thisH2088 thingH1697 beenH1961 doneH1961 by my lordH113 the kingH4428, and you have not shownH3045 to your 5servantsH5650 whoH4310 should sitH3427 on the throneH3678 of my lordH113 the kingH4428 afterH310 him?”
