9and the headוְרֹ֤אשׁve.RoshH7218of Ephraimאֶפְרַ֙יִם֙'ef.Ra.yimH669is Samariaשֹׁמְר֔וֹןsho.me.RonH8111and the headוְרֹ֥אשׁve.RoshH7218of Samariaשֹׁמְר֖וֹןsho.me.RonH8111is the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Remaliahרְמַלְיָ֑הוּre.mal.Ya.huH7425.Ifאִ֚ם'imH518you will not believeתַאֲמִ֔ינוּta.'a.Mi.nuH539,you surelyכִּ֖יkiH3588shall notlastתֵאָמֵֽנוּ׃ סte.'a.Me.nuH539.”’”

10Then the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068spokeדַּבֵּ֥רda.BerH1696againוַיּ֣וֹסֶףvai.Yo.sefH3254to Ahazאָחָ֖ז'a.ChazH271,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

11“Askשְׁאַל־she.'al-H7592asignא֔וֹת'otH226for yourself from the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;makeהַעְמֵ֣קha'.MekH6009itdeepH6009as Sheolשְׁאָ֔לָהshe.'A.lahH7585orא֖וֹ'oH176highהַגְבֵּ֥הַּhag.Be.ahH1361asheavenלְמָֽעְלָה׃le.Ma.'e.lahH4605.”

12But Ahazאָחָ֑ז'a.ChazH271saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “I will not askאֶשְׁאַ֥ל'esh.'AlH7592,norH3808will I testאֲנַסֶּ֖ה'a.na.SehH5254the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068!”

13Then he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Listenשִׁמְעוּ־shim.'u-H8085nowנָ֖אna'H4994, Ohouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732!Is it tooH4480slightH4592a thingH4592for you to tryH3811the patienceH3811of menH376, that you willtryH3811the patienceH3811ofmy Godאֱלֹהָֽי׃'e.lo.HaiH430as wellגַּ֥םgamH1571?

14Thereforeלָ֠כֵןLa.khenH3651the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Himselfה֛וּאhu'H1931will giveיִתֵּ֨ןyi.TenH5414you a signא֑וֹת'otH226:Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009, avirginהָעַלְמָ֗הha.'al.MahH5959will be with childהָרָה֙ha.RahH2030and bearוְיֹלֶ֣דֶתve.yo.Le.detH3205a sonבֵּ֔ןBenH1121,and she will callוְקָרָ֥אתve.ka.RatH7121His nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034ImmanuelH6005.

15He will eatיֹאכֵ֑לyo.KhelH398curdsחֶמְאָ֥הchem.'AhH2529and honeyוּדְבַ֖שׁu.de.VashH1706at the time He knowsלְדַעְתּ֛וֹle.da'.ToH3045enoughto refuseמָא֥וֹסma.'osH3988evilבָּרָ֖עba.Ra'H7451and chooseוּבָח֥וֹרu.va.ChorH977goodבַּטּֽוֹב׃ba.TovH2896.
