2Eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376will be like arefugeכְּמַֽחֲבֵא־ke.ma.cha.ve'-H4224from the windר֖וּחַRu.achH7307And a shelterוְסֵ֣תֶרve.Se.terH5643from the stormזָ֑רֶםZa.remH2230, Likestreamsכְּפַלְגֵי־ke.fal.gei-H6388of waterמַ֣יִםMa.yimH4325in a dryבְּצָי֔וֹןbe.tza.YonH6724countryH6724, Like theshadeכְּצֵ֥לke.TzelH6738of ahugeכָּבֵ֖דka.VedH3515rockסֶֽלַע־se.la'-H5553ina parchedעֲיֵפָֽה׃'a.ye.FahH5889landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776.

3Thenthe eyesעֵינֵ֣י'ei.NeiH5869of those who seeרֹאִ֑יםro.'ImH7200will not beblindedH8173,And the earsוְאָזְנֵ֥יve.'a.ze.NeiH241of those who hearשֹׁמְעִ֖יםsho.me.'ImH8085will listenתִּקְשַֽׁבְנָה׃tik.Shav.nahH7181.

14Becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588the palaceאַרְמ֣וֹן'ar.MonH759has been abandonedנֻטָּ֔שׁnu.TashH5203, thepopulatedהֲמ֥וֹןha.MonH1995cityעִ֖יר'irH5892forsakenעֻזָּ֑ב'u.ZavH5800.Hillעֹ֣פֶל'O.felH6076and watch-towerוָבַ֜חַןva.Va.chanH975have becomeהָיָ֨הha.YahH1961cavesמְעָרוֹת֙me.'a.rOtH4631foreverעַד־ עוֹלָ֔ם'ad- o.LamH5704 H5769,A delightמְשׂ֥וֹשׂme.SosH4885forwildפְּרָאִ֖יםpe.ra.'ImH6501donkeysH6501,a pastureמִרְעֵ֥הmir.'EhH4829for flocksעֲדָרִֽים׃'a.da.RimH5739;

15Untilעַד־'ad-H5704theSpiritר֖וּחַRu.achH7307is pouredיֵ֨עָרֶ֥הye.'a.RehH6168out upon us from on highמִמָּר֑וֹםmi.ma.RomH4791,And the wildernessמִדְבָּר֙mid.BarH4057becomesוְהָיָ֤הve.ha.YahH1961afertileH3759fieldH3759,And the fertileH3759fieldH3759is consideredיֵחָשֵֽׁב׃ye.cha.ShevH2803as a forestלַיַּ֥עַרlai.Ya.'arH3293.

16Thenjusticeמִשְׁפָּ֑טmish.PatH4941will dwellוְשָׁכַ֥ןve.sha.KhanH7931in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֖רba.mid.BarH4057And righteousnessוּצְדָקָ֖הu.tze.da.KahH6666will abideתֵּשֵֽׁב׃te.ShevH3427in the fertileH3759fieldH3759.

17And theworkמַעֲשֵׂ֥הma.'a.SehH4639of righteousnessהַצְּדָקָ֖הha.tze.da.KahH6666will be peaceשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965,And the serviceוַֽעֲבֹדַת֙va.'a.vo.DatH5656of righteousnessהַצְּדָקָ֔הha.tze.da.KahH6666,quietnessהַשְׁקֵ֥טhash.KetH8252andconfidenceוָבֶ֖טַחva.Ve.tachH983foreverעַד־ עוֹלָֽם׃'ad- o.LamH5704 H5769.

18Then my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971will liveוְיָשַׁ֥בve.ya.ShavH3427in apeacefulשָׁל֑וֹםsha.LomH7965habitationבִּנְוֵ֣הbin.VehH5116,And in secureמִבְטַחִ֔יםmiv.ta.ChimH4009dwellingsוּֽבְמִשְׁכְּנוֹת֙u.ve.mish.ke.nOtH4908and in undisturbedשַׁאֲנַנּֽוֹת׃sha.'a.na.NotH7600restingוּבִמְנוּחֹ֖תu.vim.nu.ChotH4496placesH4496;

19And it willhailוּבָרַ֖דu.va.RadH1258when theforestהַיָּ֑עַרhai.Ya.'arH3293comesH3381downבְּרֶ֣דֶתbe.Re.detH3381, Andthe cityהָעִֽיר׃ha.'IrH5892will be utterlyוּבַשִּׁפְלָ֖הu.va.shif.LahH8218laidH8213lowתִּשְׁפַּ֥לtish.PalH8213.

20Howblessedאַשְׁרֵיכֶ֕ם'ash.rei.KhemH835will you be, you who sowזֹרְעֵ֖יzo.re.'EiH2232besideעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605watersמָ֑יִםMa.yimH4325, WholetH7971out freelyH7971the oxהַשּׁ֖וֹרha.ShorH7794and the donkeyוְהַחֲמֽוֹר׃ סve.ha.cha.MorH2543.
