Help Not in Egypt but in God

1Woeה֣וֹיHoH1945to those who goהַיֹּרְדִ֤יםhai.yo.re.DimH3381downH3381toEgyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714for helpלְעֶזְרָ֔הle.'ez.RahH5833Andrelyיִשָּׁעֵ֑נוּyi.sha.'E.nuH8172on horsesסוּסִ֖יםsu.SimH5483,And trustוַיִּבְטְח֨וּvai.yiv.te.ChuH982in chariotsרֶ֜כֶבRe.khevH7393becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588they are manyרָ֗בRavH7227And in horsemenפָּֽרָשִׁים֙pa.ra.ShimH6571becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588they are veryמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966strongעָצְמ֣וּ'a.tze.MuH6105, But they do notlookשָׁעוּ֙sha.'UH8159to theHolyקְד֣וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,norH3808seekדָרָֽשׁוּ׃da.Ra.shuH1875the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068!

2Yet He alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571iswiseחָכָם֙cha.KhamH2450and willbringוַיָּ֣בֵאvai.Ya.ve'H935disasterרָ֔עRa'H7451And doesnot retractהֵסִ֑ירhe.SirH5493His wordsדְּבָרָ֖יוde.va.RavH1697,But will ariseוְקָם֙ve.KamH6965againstעַל־'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofevildoersמְרֵעִ֔יםme.re.'ImH7489And againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the helpעֶזְרַ֖ת'ez.RatH5833of theworkersפֹּ֥עֲלֵיPo.'a.leiH6466of iniquityאָֽוֶן׃'A.venH205.

3Now the Egyptiansוּמִצְרַ֤יִםu.mitz.Ra.yimH4714aremenאָדָם֙'a.DamH120and not Godאֵ֔ל'ElH410, And theirhorsesוְסוּסֵיהֶ֥םve.su.sei.HemH5483are fleshבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320and not spiritר֑וּחַRu.achH7307;So the Lordוַֽיהוָ֞הva.Yah.wehH3068willstretchיַטֶּ֣הya.TehH5186out His handיָד֗וֹya.DoH3027, Andhe who helpsעוֹזֵר֙o.ZerH5826will stumbleוְכָשַׁ֤לve.kha.ShalH3782And he who is helpedעָזֻ֔ר'a.ZurH5826will fallוְנָפַ֣לve.na.FalH5307,And allכֻּלָּ֥םku.LamH3605of them will comeיִכְלָיֽוּן׃ סyikh.la.YunH3615to an endH3615togetherH3164.

4For thusכֹ֣הkhohH3541saysאָֽמַר־'a.mar-H559the Lordיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068to me, “As thelionH743or the youngוְהַכְּפִ֜ירve.ha.ke.FirH3715lionH3715growlsיֶהְגֶּה֩yeh.GehH1897overH5921his preyטַרְפּ֗וֹtar.PoH2964,AgainstH5921whichH834a bandמְלֹ֣אme.Lo'H4393of shepherdsרֹעִ֔יםro.'ImH7462is calledיִקָּרֵ֤אyi.ka.Re'H7121out, Andhe will not be terrifiedיֵחָ֔תye.ChatH2865at their voiceמִקּוֹלָם֙mi.ko.LamH6963norH3808disturbedיַֽעֲנֶ֑הya.'a.NehH6031at their noiseוּמֵֽהֲמוֹנָ֖םu.me.ha.mo.NamH1995,Soכֵּ֗ןKenH3651will the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635comeיֵרֵד֙ye.RedH3381downH3381to wageלִצְבֹּ֥אlitz.Bo'H6633warH6633on Mountהַר־har-H2022Zionצִיּ֖וֹןtzi.YonH6726and on its hillגִּבְעָתָֽהּ׃giv.'a.TahH1389.”

5Likeflyingעָפ֔וֹתa.FotH5774birdsכְּצִפֳּרִ֣יםke.tzi.po.RimH6833soכֵּ֗ןKenH3651the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635will protectיָגֵ֛ןya.GenH1598Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389. He willprotectגָּנ֥וֹןga.NonH1598and deliverוְהִצִּ֖ילve.hi.TzilH5337it;He will passפָּסֹ֥חַpa.So.achH6452overH6452and rescueוְהִמְלִֽיט׃ve.him.LitH4422it.

6Returnשׁ֗וּבוּShu.vuH7725to Him from whomלַאֲשֶׁ֛רla.'a.SherH834you havedeeplyהֶעְמִ֥יקוּhe'.Mi.kuH6009defectedסָרָ֖הsa.RahH5627,O sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

7For in that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117everyH376manH376willcastH3988awayH3988his silverכַסְפּ֔וֹkhas.PoH3701idolsאֱלִילֵ֣י'e.li.LeiH457and his goldזְהָב֑וֹze.ha.VoH2091idolsוֶאֱלִילֵ֖יve.'e.li.LeiH457,whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834yoursinful handsיְדֵיכֶ֖םye.dei.KhemH3027have madeעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213for you asa sinחֵֽטְא׃Chet'H2399.

8And theAssyrianאַשּׁוּר֙'a.ShurH804will fallוְנָפַ֤לve.na.FalH5307by a swordבְּחֶ֣רֶבbe.Che.revH2719not of manאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376, And aswordוְחֶ֥רֶבve.Che.revH2719not of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120will devourתֹּֽאכֲלֶ֑נּוּto.kha.Le.nuH398him. So he willnot escapeוְנָ֥סve.NasH5127the swordחֶ֔רֶבChe.revH2719,And his youngוּבַחוּרָ֖יוu.va.chu.RavH970menH970will becomeיִהְיֽוּ׃yih.YuH1961forcedH4522laborersH4522.

9“Hisrockוְסַלְעוֹ֙ve.sal.'OH5553will passיַֽעֲב֔וֹרya.'a.VorH5674awayH5674becauseH4480of panicמִמָּג֣וֹרmi.ma.GorH4032,And his princesשָׂרָ֑יוsa.RavH8269will be terrifiedוְחַתּ֥וּve.cha.TuH2865at thestandardמִנֵּ֖סmi.NesH5251,”Declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,whoseאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834fireא֥וּר'urH217is in Zionבְּצִיּ֔וֹןbe.tzi.YonH6726and whose furnaceוְתַנּ֥וּרve.ta.NurH8574is in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ סbi.ru.sha.LimH3389.
