1But nowוְעַתָּ֞הve.'a.TahH6258,thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068, yourCreatorבֹּרַאֲךָ֣bo.ra.'a.KhaH1254,O Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290, And He whoformedוְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ve.yo.tzer.KhaH3335you, O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “Do notfearתִּירָא֙ti.Ra'H3372, for I haveredeemedגְאַלְתִּ֔יךָge.'al.Ti.khaH1350you; I havecalledקָרָ֥אתִיka.Ra.tiH7121you by nameבְשִׁמְךָ֖ve.shim.KhaH8034; you are Mine!

2Whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588youpassתַעֲבֹ֤רta.'a.VorH5674through the watersבַּמַּ֙יִם֙ba.Ma.yimH4325, I will be with you;And through the riversוּבַנְּהָר֖וֹתu.va.ne.ha.RotH5104,they will not overflowיִשְׁטְפ֑וּךָyish.te.Fu.khaH7857you.Whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588youwalkתֵלֵ֤ךְte.LekhH1980throughבְּמוֹ־be.mov-H1119the fireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784,you will not be scorchedתִכָּוֶ֔הti.ka.VehH3554,NorH3808will the flameוְלֶהָבָ֖הve.le.ha.VahH3852burnתִבְעַר־tiv.'ar-H1197you.

3ForI am the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,The Holyקְד֥וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478, yourSaviorמוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָmo.shi.'E.khaH3467;I have givenנָתַ֤תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714as your ransomכָפְרְךָ֙kha.fe.re.KhaH3724,Cushכּ֥וּשׁkushH3568and Sebaוּסְבָ֖אu.se.Va'H5434in your placeתַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃tach.Tei.khaH8478.

4Sinceמֵאֲשֶׁ֨רme.'a.SherH4480 H834you arepreciousיָקַ֧רְתָּya.Kar.taH3365in My sightבְעֵינַ֛יve.'ei.NaiH5869, Since you arehonoredנִכְבַּ֖דְתָּnikh.Bad.taH3513and Iloveאֲהַבְתִּ֑יךָ'a.hav.Ti.khaH157you,I will giveוְאֶתֵּ֤ןve.'e.TenH5414othermenאָדָם֙'a.DamH120in your placeתַּחְתֶּ֔יךָtach.Tei.khaH8478and otherpeoplesוּלְאֻמִּ֖יםu.le.'u.MimH3816in exchangeתַּ֥חַתTa.chatH8478for your lifeנַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃naf.She.khaH5315.

5Do not fearתִּירָ֖אti.Ra'H3372, for I am with you;I will bringאָבִ֣יא'a.Vi'H935your offspringזַרְעֶ֔ךָzar.'E.khaH2233from the eastמִמִּזְרָח֙mi.miz.RachH4217, Andgatherאֲקַבְּצֶֽךָּ׃'a.ka.be.Tze.kaH6908you from the westוּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֖בu.mi.ma.'a.RavH4628.

6I will sayאֹמַ֤ר'o.MarH559to thenorthלַצָּפוֹן֙la.tza.fOnH6828, ‘Giveתֵּ֔נִיTe.niH5414them up!’And to the southוּלְתֵימָ֖ןu.le.tei.ManH8486, ‘Do not holdH3607thembackH3607.’Bringהָבִ֤יאִיha.Vi.'iH935Mysonsבָנַי֙va.NaiH1121from afarמֵרָח֔וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350And My daughtersוּבְנוֹתַ֖יu.ve.no.TaiH1323from theendsמִקְצֵ֥הmik.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776,

7Everyoneכֹּ֚לkolH3605who iscalledהַנִּקְרָ֣אha.nik.Ra'H7121by My nameבִשְׁמִ֔יvish.MiH8034, And whom I havecreatedבְּרָאתִ֑יוbe.ra.TivH1254for Mygloryוְלִכְבוֹדִ֖יve.likh.vo.DiH3519,Whom I have formedיְצַרְתִּ֖יוye.tzar.TivH3335,evenאַף־'af-H637whom I have madeעֲשִׂיתִֽיו׃'a.si.TivH6213.”

8Bringהוֹצִ֥יאho.Tzi'H3318out the peopleעַם־'am-H5971whoH5787areblindעִוֵּ֖ר'i.VerH5787,even though they haveיֵ֑שׁYeshH3426eyesוְעֵינַ֣יִםve.'ei.Na.yimH5869,And the deafוְחֵרְשִׁ֖יםve.che.re.ShimH2795,even though they have earsוְאָזְנַ֥יִםve.'a.ze.Na.yimH241.

9Allכָּֽל־kal-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֞םha.go.YimH1471havegatheredנִקְבְּצ֣וּnik.be.TzuH6908togetherH3164So that the peoplesלְאֻמִּ֔יםle.'u.MimH3816may be assembledוְיֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ve.ye.'a.se.FuH622.Whoמִ֤יmiH4310among them candeclareיַגִּ֣ידya.GidH5046thisH2088And proclaimיַשְׁמִיעֻ֑נוּyash.mi.'U.nuH8085to us the formerוְרִֽאשֹׁנ֖וֹתve.ri.sho.NotH7223thingsH7223?Let them presentיִתְּנ֤וּyi.te.NuH5414their witnessesעֵֽדֵיהֶם֙'e.dei.HemH5707that they may be justifiedוְיִצְדָּ֔קוּve.yitz.Da.kuH6663,Or let them hearוְיִשְׁמְע֖וּve.yish.me.'UH8085and sayוְיֹאמְר֥וּve.yo.me.RuH559, “It is trueאֱמֶֽת׃'e.MetH571.”

10“You areMy witnessesעֵדַי֙'e.DaiH5707,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “AndMy servantוְעַבְדִּ֖יve.'av.DiH5650whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I have chosenבָּחָ֑רְתִּיba.Cha.re.tiH977,So that you may knowתֵּ֠דְעוּTe.de.'uH3045and believeוְתַאֲמִ֨ינוּve.ta.'a.Mi.nuH539MeAnd understandוְתָבִ֙ינוּ֙ve.ta.Vi.nuH995that I am He.Beforeלְפָנַי֙le.fa.NaiH6440Me there was noלֹא־lo'-H3808Godאֵ֔ל'ElH410formedנ֣וֹצַרNo.tzarH3335,And there will be noneלֹ֥אlo'H3808afterוְאַחֲרַ֖יve.'a.cha.RaiH310Me.

11I, even I, am the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,And thereH369is noH369saviorמוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃mo.Shi.a'H3467besidesמִבַּלְעָדַ֖יmi.bal.'a.DaiH4480 H1107Me.

12It is I who have declaredהִגַּ֤דְתִּיhi.Gad.tiH5046and savedוְהוֹשַׁ֙עְתִּי֙ve.ho.Sha'.tiH3467and proclaimedוְהִשְׁמַ֔עְתִּיve.hish.Ma'.tiH8085,And thereH369was noH369strangeזָ֑רZarH2114god among you;So you are My witnessesעֵדַ֛י'e.DaiH5707,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, “And I am Godאֵֽל׃'ElH410.

13Evenגַּם־gam-H1571from eternityמִיּוֹם֙mi.yOmH3117I am He,And thereH369isnoneH369who can deliverמַצִּ֑ילma.TzilH5337out of My handמִיָּדִ֖יmi.ya.DiH3027;I actאֶפְעַ֖ל'ef.'AlH6466and whoוּמִ֥יu.MiH4310can reverseיְשִׁיבֶֽנָּה׃ סye.shi.Ve.nahH7725it?”

Babylon to Be Destroyed

14Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֧ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068yourRedeemerגֹּאַלְכֶ֖םgo.'al.KhemH1350,the Holyקְד֣וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918OneH6918of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “For your sakeלְמַעַנְכֶ֞םle.ma.'an.KhemH4616I have sentשִׁלַּ֣חְתִּיshi.Lach.tiH7971to Babylonבָבֶ֗לָהva.Ve.lahH894,And will bringוְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤יve.ho.rad.TiH3381them allכֻּלָּ֔םku.LamH3605downH3381as fugitivesבָֽרִיחִים֙va.ri.ChimH1281, Even theChaldeansוְכַשְׂדִּ֖יםve.khas.DimH3778, into theshipsבָּאֳנִיּ֥וֹתbo.'o.ni.YotH591in which they rejoiceרִנָּתָֽם׃ri.na.TamH7440.

15I am the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,your Holyקְדֽוֹשְׁכֶ֑םke.do.she.KhemH6918OneH6918,The Creatorבּוֹרֵ֥אbo.Re'H1254of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478, yourKingמַלְכְּכֶֽם׃ סmal.ke.KhemH4428.”

16Thusכֹּ֚הkohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, Whomakesהַנּוֹתֵ֥ןha.no.TenH5414a wayדָּ֑רֶךְDa.rekhH1870through the seaבַּיָּ֖םbai.YamH3220And a pathנְתִיבָֽה׃ne.ti.VahH5410through the mightyעַזִּ֖ים'a.ZimH5794watersוּבְמַ֥יִםu.ve.Ma.yimH4325,

17Who bringsH3318forthH3318thechariotרֶֽכֶב־re.khev-H7393and the horseוָס֖וּסva.SusH5483,The armyחַ֣יִלCha.yilH2428and the mightyH5808manH5808(They will lieH7901downH7901togetherH3164andnot riseיָק֔וּמוּya.Ku.muH6965again; They have beenquenchedכָבֽוּ׃kha.VuH3518andextinguishedH3518like a wickכַּפִּשְׁתָּ֥הka.pish.TahH6594):

20The beastsH2421of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֔הha.sa.DehH7704will glorifyתְּכַבְּדֵ֙נִי֙te.kha.be.De.niH3513Me, ThejackalsH8565and the ostrichesיַֽעֲנָ֑הya.'a.NahH3284,Becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588I havegivenנָתַ֨תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414watersמַ֗יִםMa.yimH4325in the wildernessבַמִּדְבָּ֜רva.mid.BarH4057And riversנְהָרוֹת֙ne.ha.rOtH5104in the desertבִּֽישִׁימֹ֔ןbi.shi.MonH3452,To giveלְהַשְׁק֖וֹתle.hash.KotH8248drinkH8248to My chosenבְחִירִֽי׃ve.chi.RiH972peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971.

21The peopleעַם־'am-H5971whomזוּ֙zuH2098I formedיָצַ֣רְתִּיya.Tzar.tiH3335for MyselfWill declareיְסַפֵּֽרוּ׃ סye.sa.Pe.ruH5608My praiseתְּהִלָּתִ֖יte.hi.la.TiH8416.

23You havenot broughtהֵבֵ֤יאתָhe.Vei.taH935to Me the sheepשֵׂ֣הsehH7716of your burntעֹלֹתֶ֔יךָ'o.lo.Tei.khaH5930offeringsH5930,NorH3808have youhonoredכִבַּדְתָּ֑נִיkhi.bad.Ta.niH3513Me with your sacrificesוּזְבָחֶ֖יךָu.ze.va.Chei.khaH2077. I have notburdenedהֶעֱבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙he.'e.vad.Ti.khaH5647you withofferingsבְּמִנְחָ֔הbe.min.ChahH4503,NorH3808weariedהוֹגַעְתִּ֖יךָho.ga'.Ti.khaH3021you withincenseבִּלְבוֹנָֽה׃bil.vo.NahH3828.

24You have boughtקָנִ֨יתָka.Ni.taH7069Me notsweetH7070caneH7070with moneyבַכֶּ֙סֶף֙va.Ke.sefH3701,NorH3808have youfilledהִרְוִיתָ֑נִיhir.vi.Ta.niH7301Me with the fatוְחֵ֥לֶבve.Che.levH2459of your sacrificesזְבָחֶ֖יךָze.va.Chei.khaH2077;Ratherאַ֗ךְ'AkhH389you have burdenedהֶעֱבַדְתַּ֙נִי֙he.'e.vad.Ta.niH5647Me with your sinsבְּחַטֹּאותֶ֔יךָbe.cha.to.Tei.khaH2403, You haveweariedהוֹגַעְתַּ֖נִיho.ga'.Ta.niH3021Me with your iniquitiesבַּעֲוֹנֹתֶֽיךָ׃ סba.'a.vo.no.Tei.khaH5771.

25“I, even I, am the one whowipesמֹחֶ֥הmo.ChehH4229out your transgressionsפְשָׁעֶ֖יךָfe.sha.'Ei.khaH6588for My own sakeלְמַעֲנִ֑יle.ma.'a.NiH4616, And I willnot rememberאֶזְכֹּֽר׃'ez.KorH2142your sinsוְחַטֹּאתֶ֖יךָve.cha.to.Tei.khaH2403.

26PutH2142Me in remembranceH2142,let us argueH8199our caseH8199togetherיָ֑חַדYa.chadH3162;Stateסַפֵּ֥רsa.PerH5608your cause,that you may be provedH6663rightH6663.

27Yourfirstהָרִאשׁ֖וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223forefatherאָבִ֥יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1sinnedחָטָ֑אcha.Ta'H2398, And yourspokesmenH3917havetransgressedפָּ֥שְׁעוּPa.she.'uH6586against Me.

28So I willpolluteוַאֲחַלֵּ֖לva.'a.cha.LelH2490theprincesשָׂ֣רֵיSa.reiH8269of the sanctuaryקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944,And I will consignוְאֶתְּנָ֤הve.'e.te.NahH5414Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290to thebanלַחֵ֙רֶם֙la.Che.remH2764and Israelוְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478torevilementלְגִדּוּפִֽים׃ סle.gi.du.FimH1421.
