4Whatמַה־mah-H4100moreעוֹד֙'OdH5750was there to doלַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for My vineyardלְכַרְמִ֔יle.khar.MiH3754that I have not doneעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213in it?Whyמַדּ֧וּעַma.Du.a'H4069,when I expectedקִוֵּ֛יתִיki.Vei.tiH6960itto produceלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213goodgrapesעֲנָבִ֖ים'a.na.VimH6025did it produceוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213worthlessH891onesH891?

5So nowוְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258let Me tellאוֹדִֽיעָה־'o.di.'ah-H3045you whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I am going to doעֹשֶׂ֖ה'o.SehH6213to My vineyardלְכַרְמִ֑יle.khar.MiH3754: I willremoveהָסֵ֤רha.SerH5493its hedgeH4905and it will be consumedלְבָעֵ֔רle.va.'ErH1197; I willbreakפָּרֹ֥ץpa.RotzH6555downH6555its wallגְּדֵר֖וֹge.de.RoH1447and it will becomeH1961trampledH4823groundH4823.

6I willlayוַאֲשִׁיתֵ֣הוּva.'a.shi.Te.huH7896it wasteבָתָ֗הva.TahH1326;It will not be prunedיִזָּמֵר֙yi.za.MerH2168or hoedיֵעָדֵ֔רye.'a.DerH5737,But briarsשָׁמִ֖ירsha.MirH8068and thornsוָשָׁ֑יִתva.Sha.yitH7898will comeוְעָלָ֥הve.'a.LahH5927up.I will also chargeאֲצַוֶּ֔ה'a.tza.VehH6680the cloudsהֶעָבִים֙he.'a.VimH5645torainמֵהַמְטִ֥ירme.ham.TirH4305noH4480rainמָטָֽר׃ma.TarH4306on it.”

7For thevineyardכֶ֜רֶםKhe.remH3754of the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635is the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478And the menוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063His delightfulשַׁעֲשׁוּעָ֑יוsha.'a.shu.'AvH8191plantנְטַ֖עne.Ta'H5194.Thus He lookedוַיְקַ֤וvay.KavH6960for justiceלְמִשְׁפָּט֙le.mish.PatH4941,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009,bloodshedמִשְׂפָּ֔חmis.PachH4939;For righteousnessלִצְדָקָ֖הlitz.da.KahH6666,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009,a cryH6818of distressH6818.

8Woeה֗וֹיHoH1945to those whoaddמַגִּיעֵ֥יma.gi.'EiH5060houseבַ֙יִת֙va.yitH1004to houseבְּבַ֔יִתbe.Va.yitH1004andjoinיַקְרִ֑יבוּyak.Ri.vuH7126fieldשָׂדֶ֥הsa.DehH7704to fieldבְשָׂדֶ֖הve.sa.DehH7704,Untilעַ֚ד'adH5704there is noH657moreH657roomמָק֔וֹםma.KomH4725,So that you have to liveוְהֽוּשַׁבְתֶּ֥םve.hu.shav.TemH3427aloneלְבַדְּכֶ֖םle.va.de.KhemH905in the midstבְּקֶ֥רֶבbe.Ke.revH7130of the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776!

9In my earsבְּאָזְנָ֖יbe.'a.ze.NaiH241the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635has sworn, “Surelyאִם־ לֹ֞א'im- lo'H518 H3808,manyרַבִּים֙ra.BimH7227housesבָּתִּ֤יםba.TimH1004shall becomeיִֽהְי֔וּyih.YuH1961desolateלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047, Evengreatגְּדֹלִ֥יםge.do.LimH1419and fineH2896onesH2896,withoutמֵאֵ֥יןme.'EinH369occupantsיוֹשֵֽׁב׃yo.ShevH3427.

10Fortenעֲשֶׂ֙רֶת֙'a.Se.retH6235acresצִמְדֵּי־tzim.dei-H6776of vineyardכֶ֔רֶםKhe.remH3754will yieldיַעֲשׂ֖וּya.'a.SuH6213onlyoneאֶחָ֑ת'e.ChatH259bathבַּ֣תbatH1324of wine, And ahomerחֹ֖מֶרCho.merH2563of seedוְזֶ֥רַעve.Ze.ra'H2233will yieldיַעֲשֶׂ֥הya.'a.SehH6213but anephahאֵיפָֽה׃ פ'ei.FahH374of grain.”

11Woeה֛וֹיHoH1945to those who riseמַשְׁכִּימֵ֥יmash.ki.MeiH7925earlyH7925in the morningבַבֹּ֖קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242that they may pursueיִרְדֹּ֑פוּyir.Do.fuH7291strongשֵׁכָ֣רshe.KharH7941drinkH7941,Who stayH309up lateH309in the eveningבַנֶּ֔שֶׁףva.Ne.shefH5399that wineיַ֖יִןYa.yinH3196may inflameיַדְלִיקֵֽם׃yad.li.KemH1814them!

12Their banquetsמִשְׁתֵּיהֶ֑םmish.tei.HemH4960are accompaniedby lyreכִנּ֜וֹרkhi.NorH3658andharpוָנֶ֗בֶלva.Ne.velH5035,by tambourineתֹּ֧ףtofH8596and fluteוְחָלִ֛ילve.cha.LilH2485,and by wineוָיַ֖יִןva.Ya.yinH3196; But theydo not payיַבִּ֔יטוּya.Bi.tuH5027attentionH5027to the deedsפֹּ֤עַלPo.'alH6467of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,NorH3808do they considerרָאֽוּ׃ra.'UH7200the workוּמַעֲשֵׂ֥הu.ma.'a.SehH4639of His handsיָדָ֖יוya.DavH3027.

13Thereforeלָכֵ֛ןla.KhenH3651My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971goגָּלָ֥הga.LahH1540into exileH1540for theirlackמִבְּלִי־mi.be.li-H1097of knowledgeדָ֑עַתDa.'atH1847; And theirhonorableוּכְבוֹדוֹ֙u.khe.vo.DoH3519menמְתֵ֣יme.TeiH4962are famishedרָעָ֔בra.'AvH7458,And their multitudeוַהֲמוֹנ֖וֹva.ha.mo.NoH1995is parchedצִחֵ֥הtzi.ChehH6704with thirstצָמָֽא׃tza.Ma'H6772.
