19They willflingיַשְׁלִ֗יכוּyash.Li.khuH7993their silverכַּסְפָּ֞םkas.PamH3701into the streetsבַּחוּצ֣וֹתba.chu.TzotH2351and their goldוּזְהָבָם֮u.ze.ha.VamH2091will becomeיִֽהְיֶה֒yih.YehH1961an abhorrentH5079thingלְנִדָּ֣הle.ni.DahH5079; theirsilverכַּסְפָּ֨םkas.PamH3701and their goldוּזְהָבָ֜םu.ze.ha.VamH2091will not be ableיוּכַ֣לyu.KhalH3201to deliverלְהַצִּילָ֗םle.ha.tzi.LamH5337them in the dayבְּיוֹם֙be.yOmH3117of the wrathעֶבְרַ֣ת'ev.RatH5678of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068.They cannotH3808satisfyיְשַׂבֵּ֔עוּye.sa.Be.'uH7646theirappetiteנַפְשָׁם֙naf.ShamH5315norH3808can they fillיְמַלֵּ֑אוּye.ma.Le.'uH4390their stomachsוּמֵעֵיהֶ֖םu.me.'ei.HemH4578,for their iniquityעֲוֹנָ֖ם'a.vo.NamH5771has becomeהָיָֽה׃ha.YahH1961an occasionH4383of stumblingH4383.

20They transformedשָׂמָ֔הוּsa.Ma.huH7760the beautyוּצְבִ֤יu.tze.ViH6643of His ornamentsעֶדְיוֹ֙ed.YoH5716into prideלְגָא֣וֹןle.ga.'onH1347, andthey madeעָ֣שׂוּ'A.suH6213the imagesוְצַלְמֵ֧יve.tzal.MeiH6754of their abominationsתוֹעֲבֹתָ֛םto.'a.vo.TamH8441andtheir detestableשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖םshi.ku.tzei.HemH8251thingsH8251with it; thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֛ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I will makeנְתַתִּ֥יוne.ta.TivH5414it an abhorrentH5079thingלְנִדָּֽה׃le.ni.DahH5079to them.

21I will giveוּנְתַתִּ֤יוu.ne.ta.TivH5414it into the handsבְּיַֽד־be.yad-H3027of theforeignersהַזָּרִים֙ha.za.RimH2114as plunderלָבַ֔זla.VazH957and to the wickedוּלְרִשְׁעֵ֥יu.le.rish.'EiH7563of the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776as spoilלְשָׁלָ֑לle.sha.LalH7998,and they will profaneוְחִלְּלֽוּהוּ׃ve.chil.lu.huH2490it.

22I will also turnוַהֲסִבּוֹתִ֤יva.ha.si.bo.TiH5437Myfaceפָנַי֙fa.NaiH6440from them, and they will profaneוְחִלְּל֖וּve.chi.le.LuH2490My secretH6845placeH6845;then robbersפָּרִיצִ֖יםpa.ri.TzimH6530will enterוּבָאוּ־u.va.'u-H935and profaneוְחִלְּלֽוּהָ׃ פve.chi.le.Lu.haH2490it.

23‘Makeעֲשֵׂ֖ה'a.SehH6213the chainהָֽרַתּ֑וֹקha.ra.TokH7569,for the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776is fullמָֽלְאָה֙mal.'AhH4390ofbloodyדָּמִ֔יםda.MimH1818crimesמִשְׁפַּ֣טmish.PatH4941and the cityוְהָעִ֖ירve.ha.'IrH5892isfullמָלְאָ֥הmal.'AhH4390of violenceחָמָֽס׃cha.MasH2555.

24Therefore, I will bringוְהֵֽבֵאתִי֙ve.he.ve.TiH935the worstרָעֵ֣יra.'EiH7451of thenationsגוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471,and they will possessוְיָרְשׁ֖וּve.ya.re.ShuH3423their housesבָּֽתֵּיהֶ֑םba.tei.HemH1004. I will also make theprideגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347of the strongH5794onesH5794ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ve.hish.ba.TiH7673, and theirholyH6942placesמְקַֽדְשֵׁיהֶֽם׃me.Kad.shei.HemH4720will be profanedוְנִחֲל֖וּve.ni.cha.LuH2490.

25When anguishקְפָ֖דָה־ke.Fa.dah-H7089comesבָ֑אVa'H935,they will seekוּבִקְשׁ֥וּu.vik.ShuH1245peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965,but thereH369will be noneH369.

26Disasterהֹוָ֤הho.VahH1943will comeתָּב֔וֹאta.Vo'H935upon disasterהֹוָה֙ho.VahH1943andrumorוּשְׁמֻעָ֥הu.she.mu.'AhH8052will be addedto rumorשְׁמוּעָ֖הshe.mu.'AhH8052;then they will seekוּבִקְשׁ֤וּu.vik.ShuH1245avisionחָזוֹן֙cha.zOnH2377from a prophetמִנָּבִ֔יאmi.na.Vi'H5030, but thelawוְתוֹרָה֙ve.to.RahH8451will be lostתֹּאבַ֣דto.VadH6from the priestמִכֹּהֵ֔ןmi.ko.HenH3548andcounselוְעֵצָ֖הve.'e.TzahH6098from the eldersמִזְּקֵנִֽים׃mi.ze.ke.NimH2205.

27The kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428will mournיִתְאַבָּ֗לyit.'a.BalH56,the princeוְנָשִׂיא֙ve.na.Si'H5387will beclothedיִלְבַּ֣שׁyil.BashH3847with horrorשְׁמָמָ֔הshe.ma.MahH8077,and the handsוִידֵ֥יvi.DeiH3027of the peopleעַם־'am-H5971of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776willtrembleתִּבָּהַ֑לְנָהti.ba.Hal.nahH926.AccordingH4480to their conductמִדַּרְכָּ֞םmi.dar.KamH1870I will dealאֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה'e.'e.SehH6213with them, and by their judgmentsוּבְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֣םu.ve.mish.pe.tei.HemH4941I will judgeאֶשְׁפְּטֵ֔ם'esh.pe.TemH8199them. And they will knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I am the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.’”
