1“Moreover, you shall makeוְעָשִׂ֥יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213an altarמִזְבֵּ֖חַmiz.Be.achH4196as a placeH4729for burningH4729incenseקְטֹ֑רֶתke.To.retH7004;you shall makeתַּעֲשֶׂ֥הta.'a.SehH6213it of acaciaשִׁטִּ֖יםshi.TimH7848woodעֲצֵ֥י'a.TzeiH6086.

2Its lengthאָרְכּ֜וֹ'a.re.KoH753shall be acubitאַמָּ֨ה'a.MahH520,and its widthרָחְבּוֹ֙ra.che.BoH7341a cubitוְאַמָּ֤הve.'a.MahH520,it shall be squareרָב֣וּעַra.Vu.a'H7251,and its heightקֹמָת֑וֹko.ma.ToH6967shall betwo cubitsוְאַמָּתַ֖יִםve.'a.ma.Ta.yimH520;its hornsקַרְנֹתָֽיו׃kar.no.TavH7161shall be of one piece with it.

6You shall putוְנָתַתָּ֤הve.na.ta.TahH5414this altar in frontלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440of the veilהַפָּרֹ֔כֶתha.pa.Ro.khetH6532that isnearעַל־'al-H5921the arkאֲרֹ֣ן'a.RonH727of the testimonyהָעֵדֻ֑תha.'e.DutH5715,in frontלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440of themercyH3727seatH3727that is overעַל־'al-H5921the ark ofthe testimonyהָ֣עֵדֻ֔תha.'e.DutH5715,whereשָֽׁמָּה׃Sha.mahH834 H8033I will meetאִוָּעֵ֥ד'i.va.'EdH3259with you.

7Aaronאַהֲרֹ֖ן'a.ha.RonH175shall burnוְהִקְטִ֥ירve.hik.TirH6999fragrantסַמִּ֑יםsa.MimH5561incenseקְטֹ֣רֶתke.To.retH7004on it; he shall burnיַקְטִירֶֽנָּה׃yak.ti.Re.nahH6999it every morningH1242when he trimsבְּהֵיטִיב֛וֹbe.hei.ti.VoH3190the lampsהַנֵּרֹ֖תha.ne.RotH5216.

9You shall not offerתַעֲל֥וּta.'a.LuH5927any strangeזָרָ֖הza.RahH2114incenseקְטֹ֥רֶתke.To.retH7004onthis altar, or burntוְעֹלָ֣הve.'o.LahH5930offeringH5930or mealH4503offeringוּמִנְחָ֑הu.min.ChahH4503;and you shall not pourתִסְּכ֖וּti.se.KhuH5258out a drinkוְנֵ֕סֶךְve.Ne.sekhH5262offeringH5262on it.

11The Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068also spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

12“Whenכִּ֣יkiH3588you takeתִשָּׂ֞אti.Sa'H5375acensusרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֘לYis.ra.'ElH3478to numberלִפְקֻדֵיהֶם֒lif.ku.dei.HemH6485them, then eachH376oneH376of them shall giveוְנָ֨תְנ֜וּve.Na.te.NuH5414a ransomכֹּ֧פֶרKo.ferH3724forhimselfנַפְשׁ֛וֹnaf.ShoH5315to the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068, when younumberבִּפְקֹ֣דbif.KodH6485them, so that there will be noוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808plagueנֶ֖גֶףNe.gefH5063among them when younumberבִּפְקֹ֥דbif.KodH6485them.

14Everyoneכֹּ֗לKolH3605whois numberedהַפְּקֻדִ֔יםha.pe.ku.DimH6485,from twentyעֶשְׂרִ֥ים'es.RimH6242yearsשָׁנָ֖הsha.NahH8141oldמִבֶּ֛ןmi.BenH1121and overוָמָ֑עְלָהva.Ma.'e.lahH4605,shall giveיִתֵּ֖ןyi.TenH5414thecontributionתְּרוּמַ֥תte.ru.MatH8641to the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

15The richהֶֽעָשִׁ֣ירhe.'a.ShirH6223shall not payH7235moreH7235and the poorוְהַדַּל֙ve.ha.DalH1800shall not payH4591lessH4591thanH4480the halfמִֽמַּחֲצִ֖יתmi.ma.cha.TzitH4276shekelהַשָּׁ֑קֶלha.Sha.kelH8255,when you giveלָתֵת֙la.TetH5414thecontributionתְּרוּמַ֣תte.ru.MatH8641to the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068to makeלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722atonementH3722foryourselvesנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶֽם׃naf.sho.tei.KhemH5315.

16You shall takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֞ve.la.kach.TaH3947the atonementהַכִּפֻּרִ֗יםha.ki.pu.RimH3725moneyכֶּ֣סֶףKe.sefH3701from the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478and shall giveוְנָתַתָּ֣ve.na.ta.TaH5414it for the serviceעֲבֹדַ֖ת'a.vo.DatH5656of the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150,that it may be a memorialלְזִכָּרוֹן֙le.zi.ka.rOnH2146for the sonsלִבְנֵ֨יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לYis.ra.'ElH3478beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,to makeלְכַפֵּ֖רle.kha.PerH3722atonementH3722foryourselvesנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶֽם׃ פnaf.sho.tei.KhemH5315.”

17The Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18“You shall also makeוְעָשִׂ֜יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213a laverכִּיּ֥וֹרki.YorH3595ofbronzeנְחֹ֛שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178,with its baseוְכַנּ֥וֹve.kha.NoH3653of bronzeנְחֹ֖שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178,for washingלְרָחְצָ֑הle.ra.che.TzahH7364; and you shallputוְנָתַתָּ֣ve.na.ta.TaH5414it betweenH996the tentאֹ֤הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵד֙mo.'EdH4150and the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,and you shall putוְנָתַתָּ֥ve.na.ta.TaH5414waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325in it.

19Aaronאַהֲרֹ֥ן'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsוּבָנָ֖יוu.va.NavH1121shallwashוְרָחֲצ֛וּve.ra.cha.TzuH7364their handsיְדֵיהֶ֖םye.dei.HemH3027and their feetרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃rag.lei.HemH7272from it;

20when they enterבְּבֹאָ֞םbe.vo.'AmH935the tentאֹ֧הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֛דmo.'EdH4150,they shall washיִרְחֲצוּ־yir.cha.tzu-H7364with waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325,so that they will not dieיָמֻ֑תוּya.Mu.tuH4191;orא֣וֹ'oH176when they approachבְגִשְׁתָּ֤םve.gish.TamH5066the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196to ministerלְשָׁרֵ֔תle.sha.RetH8334,by offeringH6999up in smokeלְהַקְטִ֥ירle.hak.TirH6999a fireאִשֶּׁ֖ה'i.ShehH801sacrificeto the Lordלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

21So they shall washוְרָחֲצ֛וּve.ra.cha.TzuH7364their handsיְדֵיהֶ֥םye.dei.HemH3027and their feetוְרַגְלֵיהֶ֖םve.rag.lei.HemH7272,so that they will not dieיָמֻ֑תוּya.Mu.tuH4191; andit shall be a perpetualעוֹלָ֛םo.LamH5769statuteחָק־chok-H2706for them, for Aaron and hisdescendantsוּלְזַרְע֖וֹu.le.zar.'OH2233throughout their generationsלְדֹרֹתָֽם׃ פle.do.ro.TamH1755.”

23“Takeקַח־kach-H3947also for yourself the finestרֹאשׁ֒roShH7218of spicesבְּשָׂמִ֣יםbe.sa.MimH1314:of flowingדְּרוֹר֙de.rOrH1865myrrhמָר־mor-H4753fiveחֲמֵ֣שׁcha.MeshH2568hundredמֵא֔וֹתme.'otH3967shekels,and of fragrantבֶּ֥שֶׂםBe.semH1314cinnamonוְקִנְּמָן־ve.ki.ne.mon-H7076halfמַחֲצִית֖וֹma.cha.tzi.ToH4276as muchH4276,two hundredוּמָאתָ֑יִםu.ma.Ta.yimH3967and fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֣יםcha.mi.ShimH2572,and of fragrantבֹ֖שֶׂםVo.semH1314caneוּקְנֵה־u.ke.neh-H7070two hundredוּמָאתָֽיִם׃u.ma.Ta.yimH3967and fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםcha.mi.ShimH2572,

25You shall makeוְעָשִׂ֣יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213of these a holyקֹ֔דֶשׁKo.deshH6944anointingמִשְׁחַת־mish.chat-H4888oilשֶׁ֚מֶןShe.menH8081,a perfumeרֹ֥קַחRo.kachH7545mixtureמִרְקַ֖חַתmir.Ka.chatH4842,the workH7660of a perfumerרֹקֵ֑חַro.Ke.achH7543; it shall bea holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944anointingמִשְׁחַת־mish.chat-H4888oilשֶׁ֥מֶןShe.menH8081.

26With ityou shall anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥u.ma.shach.TaH4886the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֑דmo.'EdH4150and the arkאֲר֥וֹן'a.RonH727of the testimonyהָעֵדֻֽת׃ha.'e.DutH5715,

27and the tableהַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ha.shul.ChanH7979and allכָּל־kol-H3605its utensilsכֵּלָ֔יוke.LavH3627,and the lampstandהַמְּנֹרָ֖הha.me.no.RahH4501and its utensilsכֵּלֶ֑יהָke.Lei.haH3627,and the altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196of incenseהַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃ha.ke.To.retH7004,

28and the altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196of burntהָעֹלָ֖הha.'o.LahH5930offeringH5930and allכָּל־kol-H3605its utensilsכֵּלָ֑יוke.LavH3627,and the laverהַכִּיֹּ֖רha.ki.YorH3595and its standכַּנּֽוֹ׃ka.NoH3653.

29You shall also consecrateוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֣ve.ki.dash.TaH6942them, that they may be mostקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holyקָֽדָשִׁ֑יםka.da.ShimH6944;whateverכָּל־kol-H3605touchesהַנֹּגֵ֥עַha.no.Ge.a'H5060them shall be holyיִקְדָּֽשׁ׃yik.DashH6942.

30You shall anointתִּמְשָׁ֑חtim.ShachH4886Aaronאַהֲרֹ֥ן'a.ha.RonH175and his sonsבָּנָ֖יוba.NavH1121,and consecrateוְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ve.ki.dash.TaH6942them, that they may ministerH3547as priestsלְכַהֵ֥ןle.kha.HenH3547to Me.

31You shall speakתְּדַבֵּ֣רte.da.BerH1696to the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘Thisזֶ֛הzehH2088shall be a holyקֹ֨דֶשׁKo.deshH6944anointingמִשְׁחַת־mish.chat-H4888oilשֶׁ֠מֶןShe.menH8081to Me throughout your generationsלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃le.do.ro.tei.KhemH1755.

32It shall not be pouredH5480onanyone’sאָדָם֙'a.DamH120bodyבְּשַׂ֤רbe.SarH1320,norH3808shall you makeתַעֲשׂ֖וּta.'a.SuH6213anylikeכָּמֹ֑הוּka.Mo.huH3644it inthe same proportionsוּבְמַ֨תְכֻּנְתּ֔וֹu.ve.Mat.kun.ToH4971;it is holyקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944, andit shall be holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944to you.

33Whoeverאִ֚ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר'ish 'a.SherH376 H834shall mixיִרְקַ֣חyir.KachH7543anylikeכָּמֹ֔הוּka.Mo.huH3644it or whoeverוַאֲשֶׁ֥רva.'a.SherH834putsיִתֵּ֛ןyi.TenH5414anyמִמֶּ֖נּוּmi.Me.nuH4480of it on alaymanזָ֑רZarH2114shall be cutוְנִכְרַ֖תve.nikh.RatH3772offH3772from his peopleמֵעַמָּֽיו׃ סme.'a.MavH5971.’”

34Then the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872, “Takeקַח־kach-H3947for yourself spicesסַמִּ֗יםsa.MimH5561,stacteנָטָ֤ף׀na.TafH5198and onychaוּשְׁחֵ֙לֶת֙u.she.Che.letH7827and galbanumוְחֶלְבְּנָ֔הve.chel.be.NahH2464,spicesסַמִּ֖יםsa.MimH5561with pureזַכָּ֑הza.KahH2134frankincenseוּלְבֹנָ֣הu.le.vo.NahH3828;there shall be an equal partבַּ֥דbadH905of eachבְּבַ֖דbe.VadH905.

35With it you shall makeוְעָשִׂ֤יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213incenseקְטֹ֔רֶתke.To.retH7004,a perfumeרֹ֖קַחRo.kachH7545,the workH7660of a perfumerרוֹקֵ֑חַro.Ke.achH7543,saltedמְמֻלָּ֖חme.mu.LachH4414,pureטָה֥וֹרta.HorH2889, andholyקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944.
