3The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478saidוַיֹּאמְר֨וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to them, “Wouldמִֽי־ יִתֵּ֨ןmi- yi.TenH4310 H5414that we had diedמוּתֵ֤נוּmu.Te.nuH4191by the Lord’sיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068handבְיַד־ve.yad-H3027in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,when we satבְּשִׁבְתֵּ֙נוּ֙be.shiv.Te.nuH3427by the potsסִ֣ירsirH5518ofmeatהַבָּשָׂ֔רha.ba.SarH1320,when we ateבְּאָכְלֵ֥נוּbe.'a.khe.Le.nuH398breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899to the fullלָשֹׂ֑בַעla.Soa'H7648;for you have broughtהוֹצֵאתֶ֤םho.tze.TemH3318us out into thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088wildernessהַמִּדְבָּ֣רha.mid.BarH4057to killלְהָמִ֛יתle.ha.MitH4191thisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088wholeכָּל־kol-H3605assemblyהַקָּהָ֥לha.ka.HalH6951with hungerבָּרָעָֽב׃ סba.ra.'AvH7458.”

4Then the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872, “BeholdH2009,I will rainמַמְטִ֥ירmam.TirH4305breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899from heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064for you; and the peopleהָעָ֤םha.'AmH5971shall goוְיָצָ֨אve.ya.Tza'H3318out and gatherוְלָֽקְטוּ֙ve.la.ke.TuH3950a day’sי֣וֹםYomH3117portionדְּבַר־de.var-H1697every dayבְּיוֹמ֔וֹbe.yo.MoH3117, that I maytestאֲנַסֶּ֛נּוּ'a.nas.Se.nuH5254them, whether orאִם־'im-H518not they will walkהֲיֵלֵ֥ךְha.ye.LekhH1980in Myinstructionבְּתוֹרָתִ֖יbe.to.ra.TiH8451.

5On the sixthהַשִּׁשִּׁ֔יha.shi.ShiH8345dayH3117,when they prepareוְהֵכִ֖ינוּve.he.Khi.nuH3559whatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they bringיָבִ֑יאוּya.Vi.'uH935in, it will be twiceמִשְׁנֶ֔הmish.NehH4932as muchאֲשֶֽׁר־'a.Sher-H834as they gatherיִלְקְט֖וּyil.ke.TuH3950dailyH3117.”

6So Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872and Aaronוְאַהֲרֹ֔ןve.'a.ha.RonH175saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to allכָּל־kol-H3605the sonsבְּנֵ֖יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, “At eveningעֶ֕רֶב'E.revH6153you will knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068has broughtהוֹצִ֥יאho.Tzi'H3318you out of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714;

7and in the morningוּבֹ֗קֶרu.Vo.kerH1242you will seeוּרְאִיתֶם֙u.re.'i.TemH7200the gloryכְּב֣וֹדke.VodH3519of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, forHe hearsבְּשָׁמְע֥וֹbe.sha.me.'OH8085your grumblingsתְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶ֖םte.lu.no.tei.KhemH8519againstעַל־'al-H5921the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068; andwhatמָ֔הMahH4100are we, that you grumbleתַלִּ֖ינוּta.lo.nuH3885againstעָלֵֽינוּ׃'a.Lei.nuH5921us?”

8Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “This will happenwhen the Lordיְהוָה֩Yah.wehH3068givesבְּתֵ֣תbe.TetH5414youmeatבָּשָׂ֣רba.SarH1320to eatלֶאֱכֹ֗לle.'e.KholH398in the eveningבָּעֶ֜רֶבba.'E.revH6153,and breadוְלֶ֤חֶםve.Le.chemH3899to the fullלִשְׂבֹּ֔עַlis.Bo.a'H7646in the morningבַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙ba.Bo.kerH1242;for the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hearsבִּשְׁמֹ֤עַbish.Mo.a'H8085your grumblingsתְּלֻנֹּ֣תֵיכֶ֔םte.lu.No.tei.KhemH8519whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834you grumbleמַלִּינִ֖םma.li.NimH3885againstעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921Him. And whatמָ֔הMahH4100are we? Your grumblingsתְלֻנֹּתֵיכֶ֖םte.lu.no.tei.KhemH8519arenot againstעָלֵ֥ינוּ'a.Lei.nuH5921us but againstעַל־'al-H5921the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.”

9Then Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Aaronאַהֲרֹ֔ן'a.ha.RonH175, “Sayאֱמֹ֗ר'e.MorH559to allכָּל־kol-H3605the congregationעֲדַת֙'a.DatH5712of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, ‘ComeH7126nearH7126beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,for He has heardשָׁמַ֔עsha.Ma'H8085your grumblingsתְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶֽם׃te.lu.no.tei.KhemH8519.’”

10It cameוַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961about as Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175spokeכְּדַבֵּ֤רke.da.BerH1696to the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605congregationעֲדַ֣ת'a.DatH5712of the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, that theylookedוַיִּפְנ֖וּvai.yif.NuH6437towardH413the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּ֑רha.mid.BarH4057,and beholdוְהִנֵּה֙ve.hi.NehH2009,the gloryכְּב֣וֹדke.VodH3519of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068appearedנִרְאָ֖הnir.'AhH7200in the cloudבֶּעָנָֽן׃ פbe.'a.NanH6051.
