4TheseH2088are the animalsהַבְּהֵמָ֖הha.be.he.MahH929whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you may eatתֹּאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398:the oxשׁ֕וֹרShorH7794,the sheepכְשָׂבִ֖יםkhe.sa.VimH3775 H7716,the goatעִזִּֽים׃'i.ZimH5795,

5the deerאַיָּ֥ל'ai.YalH354,the gazelleוּצְבִ֖יu.tze.ViH6643,the roebuckוְיַחְמ֑וּרve.yach.MurH3180,the wildH689goatH689,the ibexוְדִישֹׁ֖ןve.di.ShonH1788,the antelopeוּתְא֥וֹu.te.'OH8377and the mountainH2169sheepH2169.

6Anyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605animalבְּהֵמָ֞הbe.he.MahH929that dividesמַפְרֶ֣סֶתmaf.Re.setH6536the hoofH6541and hasH8156the hoofשֶׁ֙סַע֙she.sa'H8157splitH8156intwoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147andchewsמַעֲלַ֥תma.'a.LatH5927the cudגֵּרָ֖הge.RahH1625,among the animalsבַּבְּהֵמָ֑הba.be.he.MahH929,that you may eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398.

7Neverthelessאַ֣ךְ'akhH389,you are not to eatתֹֽאכְלוּ֙to.khe.LuH398of theseזֶ֞הzehH2088amongH4480those whichchewמִמַּֽעֲלֵ֣יmi.ma.'a.LeiH5927the cudהַגֵּרָ֔הha.ge.RahH1625,or amongH4480those that divideוּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֥יu.mi.maf.ri.SeiH6536the hoofהַפַּרְסָ֖הha.par.SahH6541intwoהַשְּׁסוּעָ֑הha.she.su.'AhH8156:the camelהַ֠גָּמָלHa.ga.molH1581and therabbitהָאַרְנֶ֨בֶתha.'ar.Ne.vetH768and theshaphanהַשָּׁפָ֜ןha.sha.FanH8227, for though theychewמַעֲלֵ֧הma.'a.LehH5927the cudגֵרָ֣הge.RahH1625,they do not divideהִפְרִ֔יסוּhif.Ri.suH6536the hoofוּפַרְסָה֙u.far.SahH6541;they are uncleanטְמֵאִ֥יםte.me.'ImH2931for you.

You shall not eatתֹאכֵ֔לוּto.Khe.luH398anyH4480of their fleshמִבְּשָׂרָם֙mi.be.sa.RamH1320norH3808touchתִגָּֽעוּ׃ סti.Ga.'uH5060their carcassesוּבְנִבְלָתָ֖םu.ve.niv.la.TamH5038.

9“Theseזֶה֙zehH2088you may eatתֹּֽאכְל֔וּto.khe.LuH398of allמִכֹּ֖לmi.KolH3605that are in waterבַּמָּ֑יִםba.Ma.yimH4325:anythingכֹּ֧לkolH3605that has finsסְנַפִּ֥ירse.na.PirH5579and scalesוְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂתve.kas.Ke.setH7193you may eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398,

10but anythingוְכֹ֨לve.KholH3605that does not haveאֵֽין־'ein-H369finsסְנַפִּ֥ירse.na.PirH5579and scalesוְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂתve.kas.Ke.setH7193you shall not eatתֹאכֵ֑לוּto.Khe.luH398;it is uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931for you.

11“You may eatתֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃to.Khe.luH398anyכָּל־kol-H3605cleanטְהֹרָ֖הte.ho.RahH2889birdצִפּ֥וֹרtzi.PorH6833.

12Buttheseוְזֶ֕הve.ZehH2088are the ones whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you shall not eatתֹאכְל֖וּto.khe.LuH398: theeagleהַנֶּ֥שֶׁרha.Ne.sherH5404and the vultureוְהַפֶּ֖רֶסve.ha.Pe.resH6538and thebuzzardוְהָֽעָזְנִיָּֽה׃ve.Ha.'a.ze.ni.YahH5822,

13and the red kiteH1676,the falconהָ֣אַיָּ֔הha.'ai.YahH344,and the kiteH1676in their kindsלְמִינָֽהּ׃le.mi.NahH4327,

14and everyכָּל־kol-H3605ravenעֹרֵ֖ב'o.RevH6158in its kindלְמִינֽוֹ׃le.mi.NoH4327,

15and the ostrichהַֽיַּעֲנָ֔הhai.ya.'a.NahH3284,the owlהַתַּחְמָ֖סha.tach.MasH8464,the seaH7828gullהַשָּׁ֑חַףha.Sha.chafH7828,and the hawkהַנֵּ֖ץha.NetzH5322in their kindsלְמִינֵֽהוּ׃le.mi.Ne.huH4327,

19And allוְכֹל֙ve.KholH3605theteemingH8318lifeH8318with wingsהָע֔וֹףha.'ofH5775are uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931to you; they shall not be eatenיֵאָכֵֽלוּ׃ye.'a.Khe.luH398.
