2He saidG3004to them, “Did you receiveἐλάβετεelabeteG2983the HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151when you believedπιστεύσαντες;pisteusantesG4100?” And they saidto him, “NoG3761,we have not evenG3761heardἠκούσαμεν.ēkousamenG191whetherG1487there is a HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151.”

3And he saidG3004, “Into whatτίtiG5101thenοὖνounG3767were you baptizedἐβαπτίσθητε;ebaptisthēteG907?”And they saidG3004, “Into John’sἸωάννουIōannouG2491baptismβάπτισμα.¶baptismaG908.”

4PaulΠαῦλος·PaulosG3972saidG3004, “JohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491baptizedἐβάπτισενebaptisenG907with the baptismβάπτισμαbaptismaG908of repentanceμετανοίαςmetanoiasG3341,tellingG3004the peopleλαῷlaōG2992to believeπιστεύσωσιν,pisteusōsinG4100in Him who was comingἐρχόμενονerchomenonG2064afterμετ᾽met᾽G3326him, that is, in JesusἸησοῦν.IēsounG2424.”

5When they heardἀκούσαντεςakousantesG191this, they werebaptizedἐβαπτίσθησανebaptisthēsanG907in the nameὄνομαonomaG3686of the LordκυρίουkuriouG2962JesusἸησοῦ·IēsouG2424.

6And when PaulΠαύλουPaulouG3972hadlaidἐπιθέντοςepithentosG2007his handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495upon them, the HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151cameἦλθενēlthenG2064on them, and they beganspeakingἐλάλουνelalounG2980with tonguesγλώσσαιςglōssaisG1100andprophesyingἐπροφήτευον.eprophēteuonG4395.

7There were in allπάντεςpantesG3956aboutὡσεὶhōseiG5616twelveδώδεκα.¶dōdekaG1427menἄνδρεςandresG435.
