29For, lo, I beginמֵחֵ֣לme.ChelH2490to bring evilלְהָרַ֔עle.ha.Ra'H7489on the cityבָעִ֜ירva.'IrH5892which is calledנִֽקְרָא־nik.ra'-H7121by my nameשְׁמִ֣יshe.MiH8034,and should ye be utterlyהִנָּקֵ֣הhi.na.KehH5352unpunishedתִנָּק֑וּti.na.KuH5352?Ye shall not be unpunishedתִנָּק֔וּti.na.KuH5352:for I will callקֹרֵא֙ko.Re'H7121for a swordחֶ֗רֶבChe.revH2719upon all the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

30Therefore prophesyתִּנָּבֵ֣אti.na.Ve'H5012thou against them all these wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto them, The Lordיְהוָ֞הYah.wehH3068shall roarיִשְׁאָג֙yish.'AgH7580from on highמִמָּר֤וֹםmi.ma.RomH4791,and utterיִתֵּ֣ןyi.TenH5414his voiceקוֹל֔וֹko.LoH6963from his holyקָדְשׁוֹ֙ka.de.ShoH6944habitationוּמִמְּע֤וֹןu.mi.me.'onH4583;he shall mightilyשָׁאֹ֤גsha.'OgH7580roarיִשְׁאַג֙yish.'AgH7580upon his habitationנָוֵ֔הוּna.Ve.huH5116;he shall giveיַֽעֲנֶ֔הya.'a.NehH6030a shoutהֵידָד֙hei.DadH1959,as they that treadכְּדֹרְכִ֣יםke.do.re.KhimH1869the grapes,against all the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

31A noiseשָׁאוֹן֙sha.'OnH7588shall comeבָּ֤אba'H935evento the endsקְצֵ֣הke.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776;for the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068hath a controversyרִ֤יבrivH7379with the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471,he will pleadנִשְׁפָּ֥טnish.PatH8199with all fleshבָּשָׂ֑רba.SarH1320;he will giveנְתָנָ֥םne.ta.NamH5414them that arewickedהָרְשָׁעִ֛יםha.re.sha.'ImH7563to the swordלַחֶ֖רֶבla.Che.revH2719,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

32Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,Behold, evilרָעָ֛הra.'AhH7451shall go forthיֹצֵ֖אתyo.TzetH3318from nationמִגּ֣וֹיmi.GoyH1471to nationגּ֑וֹיGoyH1471,and a greatגָּד֔וֹלga.DolH1419whirlwindוְסַ֣עַרve.Sa.'arH5591shall be raised upיֵע֖וֹרye.'orH5782from the coastsמִיַּרְכְּתֵי־mi.yar.ke.tei-H3411of the earthאָֽרֶץ׃'A.retzH776.

33And the slainחַֽלְלֵ֤יcha.LeiH2491of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068shall be at that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117from oneendמִקְצֵ֥הmik.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776even unto the otherendקְצֵ֣הke.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:they shall not be lamentedיִסָּפְד֗וּyi.sa.fe.DuH5594,neither gatheredיֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ye.'a.se.FuH622,nor buriedיִקָּבֵ֔רוּyi.ka.Ve.ruH6912;they shall be dungלְדֹ֛מֶןle.Do.menH1828uponפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440the groundהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127.

34Howlהֵילִ֨ילוּhei.Li.luH3213,ye shepherdsהָרֹעִ֜יםha.ro.'ImH7462,and cryוְזַעֲק֗וּve.za.'a.KuH2199;and wallowוְהִֽתְפַּלְּשׁוּ֙ve.hit.pa.le.ShuH6428yourselves in the ashes,ye principalאַדִּירֵ֣י'a.di.ReiH117of the flockהַצֹּ֔אןha.TzonH6629:for the daysיְמֵיכֶ֖םye.mei.KhemH3117of your slaughterלִטְב֑וֹחַlit.Vo.achH2873and of your dispersionsוּתְפוֹצ֣וֹתִיכֶ֔םu.te.fo.Tzo.ti.KhemH8600are accomplishedמָלְא֥וּmal.'UH4390;and ye shall fallוּנְפַלְתֶּ֖םu.ne.fal.TemH5307like a pleasantחֶמְדָּֽה׃chem.DahH2532vesselכִּכְלִ֥יkikh.LiH3627.

35And the shepherdsהָֽרֹעִ֑יםha.ro.'ImH7462shall have no wayמָנ֖וֹסma.NosH4498to fleeוְאָבַ֥דve.'a.VadH6,nor the principalמֵאַדִּירֵ֥יme.'a.di.ReiH117of the flockהַצֹּֽאן׃ha.TzonH6629to escapeוּפְלֵיטָ֖הu.fe.lei.TahH6413.

36A voiceק֚וֹלKolH6963of the cryצַעֲקַ֣תtza.'a.KatH6818of the shepherdsהָֽרֹעִ֔יםha.ro.'ImH7462,and an howlingוִֽילְלַ֖תvi.LatH3215of the principalאַדִּירֵ֣י'a.di.ReiH117of the flockהַצֹּ֑אןha.TzonH6629, shall be heard:for the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath spoiledשֹׁדֵ֥דsho.DedH7703their pastureמַרְעִיתָֽם׃mar.'i.TamH4830.

37And the peaceableהַשָּׁל֑וֹםha.sha.LomH7965habitationsנְא֣וֹתne.'otH4999are cut downוְנָדַ֖מּוּve.na.Da.muH1826becauseמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the fierceחֲר֥וֹןcha.RonH2740angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

38He hath forsakenעָזַ֥ב'a.ZavH5800his covertסֻכּ֑וֹsu.KoH5520,as the lionכַּכְּפִ֖ירka.ke.FirH3715:for their landאַרְצָם֙'ar.TzamH776is desolateלְשַׁמָּ֔הle.sha.MahH8047becauseמִפְּנֵי֙mi.pe.NeiH6440of the fiercenessחֲר֣וֹןcha.RonH2740of the oppressorהַיּוֹנָ֔הhai.yo.NahH3238,and becauseוּמִפְּנֵ֖יu.mi.pe.NeiH6440of his fierceחֲר֥וֹןcha.RonH2740angerאַפּֽוֹ׃ פ'a.PoH639.
