1Woeה֣וֹיHoH1945be unto the pastorsרֹעִ֗יםro.'ImH7462that destroyמְאַבְּדִ֧יםme.'a.be.DimH6and scatterוּמְפִצִ֛יםu.me.fi.TzimH6327the sheepצֹ֥אןtzonH6629of my pastureמַרְעִיתִ֖יmar.'i.TiH4830!saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

2Therefore thus saithאָמַ֨ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478against the pastorsהָרֹעִים֮ha.ro.'ImH7462that feedהָרֹעִ֣יםha.ro.'ImH7462my peopleעַמִּי֒'a.MiH5971;Ye have scatteredהֲפִצֹתֶ֤םha.fi.tzo.TemH6327my flockצֹאנִי֙tzo.NiH6629,and driven them awayוַתַּדִּח֔וּםva.ta.di.ChumH5080,and have not visitedפְקַדְתֶּ֖םfe.kad.TemH6485them: behold, I will visitפֹקֵ֧דfo.KedH6485upon you the evilרֹ֥עַRo.a'H7455of your doingsמַעַלְלֵיכֶ֖םma.'a.lei.KhemH4611,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

3And I will gatherאֲקַבֵּץ֙'a.ka.BetzH6908the remnantשְׁאֵרִ֣יתshe.'e.RitH7611of my flockצֹאנִ֔יtzo.NiH6629out of all countriesהָאֲרָצ֔וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776whither I have drivenהִדַּ֥חְתִּיhi.Dach.tiH5080them, and will bring them againוַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֥יva.ha.shi.vo.TiH7725to their foldsנְוֵהֶ֖ןne.ve.HenH5116;and they shall be fruitfulוּפָר֥וּu.fa.RuH6509and increaseוְרָבֽוּ׃ve.ra.VuH7235.

4And I will set upוַהֲקִמֹתִ֧יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965shepherdsרֹעִ֖יםro.'ImH7462over them which shall feedוְרָע֑וּםve.ra.'UmH7462them: and they shall fearיִֽירְא֨וּyi.re.'UH3372no more, nor be dismayedיֵחַ֛תּוּye.Cha.tuH2865,neither shall they be lackingיִפָּקֵ֖דוּyi.pa.Ke.duH6485,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

5Behold, the daysיָמִ֤יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִים֙ba.'ImH935,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,that I will raiseוַהֲקִמֹתִ֥יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965unto Davidלְדָוִ֖דle.da.VidH1732a righteousצַדִּ֑יקtza.DikH6662Branchצֶ֣מַחTze.machH6780,and a Kingמֶ֙לֶךְ֙Me.lekhH4428shall reignוּמָ֤לַךְu.Ma.lakhH4427and prosperוְהִשְׂכִּ֔ילve.his.KilH7919,and shall executeוְעָשָׂ֛הve.'a.SahH6213judgmentמִשְׁפָּ֥טmish.PatH4941and justiceוּצְדָקָ֖הu.tze.da.KahH6666in the earthבָּאָֽרֶץ׃ba.'A.retzH776.

6In his daysבְּיָמָיו֙be.ya.MavH3117Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063shall be savedתִּוָּשַׁ֣עti.va.Sha'H3467,and Israelוְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall dwellיִשְׁכֹּ֣ןyish.KonH7931safelyלָבֶ֑טַחla.Ve.tachH983: and this ishis nameשְּׁמ֥וֹshe.MoH8034whereby he shall be calledיִקְרְא֖וֹyik.re.'OH7121,THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESSH3072.

7Therefore, behold, the daysיָמִ֥יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִ֖יםba.'ImH935,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,that they shall no more sayיֹ֤אמְרוּYo.me.ruH559,The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068livethחַי־chai-H2416,which brought upהֶעֱלָ֛הhe.'e.LahH5927the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478out of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714;

8But, The Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068livethחַי־chai-H2416,which brought upהֶעֱלָה֩he.'e.LahH5927and which ledהֵבִ֜יאhe.Vi'H935the seedזֶ֨רַעZe.ra'H2233of the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478out of the northצָפ֔וֹנָהtza.Fo.nahH6828countryמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776,and from all countriesהָֽאֲרָצ֔וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776whither I had drivenהִדַּחְתִּ֖יםhi.dach.TimH5080them; and they shall dwellוְיָשְׁב֖וּve.ya.she.VuH3427in their own landאַדְמָתָֽם׃ ס'ad.ma.TamH127.

9Mine heartלִבִּ֣יli.BiH3820withinבְקִרְבִּ֗יve.kir.BiH7130me is brokenנִשְׁבַּ֧רnish.BarH7665because of the prophetsלַנְּבִאִ֞יםla.ne.vi.'ImH5030;all my bonesעַצְמוֹתַ֔יatz.mo.TaiH6106shakeרָֽחֲפוּ֙ra.cha.FuH7363;I am like a drunkenשִׁכּ֔וֹרshi.KorH7910manכְּאִ֣ישׁke.'IshH376,and like a manוּכְגֶ֖בֶרu.khe.Ge.verH1397whom wineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196hath overcomeעֲבָ֣רוֹ'a.Va.rovH5674,becauseH6440of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and because of the wordsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of his holinessקָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ka.de.ShoH6944.

10For the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776is fullמָלְאָ֣הmal.'AhH4390of adulterersמְנָֽאֲפִים֙me.na.'a.FimH5003;for becauseמִפְּנֵ֤יmi.pe.NeiH6440of swearingאָלָה֙'a.LahH423the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776mournethאָבְלָ֣ה'a.ve.LahH56;the pleasant placesנְא֣וֹתne.'otH4999of the wildernessמִדְבָּ֑רmid.BarH4057are dried upיָבְשׁ֖וּya.ve.ShuH3001,and their courseמְרֽוּצָתָם֙me.ru.tza.TamH4794is evilרָעָ֔הra.'AhH7451,and their forceוּגְבוּרָתָ֖םu.ge.vu.ra.TamH1369is not right.

11For both prophetנָבִ֥יאna.Vi'H5030and priestכֹּהֵ֖ןko.HenH3548are profaneחָנֵ֑פוּcha.Ne.fuH2610;yea, in my houseבְּבֵיתִ֛יbe.vei.TiH1004have I foundמָצָ֥אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672their wickednessרָעָתָ֖םra.'a.TamH7451,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

12Wherefore their wayדַרְכָּ֜םdar.KamH1870shall be unto them as slipperyכַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת֙ka.cha.lak.la.kOtH2519waysin the darknessבָּֽאֲפֵלָ֔הba.'a.fe.LahH653:they shall be driven onיִדַּ֖חוּyi.Da.chuH1760,and fallוְנָ֣פְלוּve.Na.fe.luH5307therein: for I will bringאָבִ֨יא'a.Vi'H935evilרָעָ֛הra.'AhH7451upon them, eventhe yearשְׁנַ֥תshe.NatH8141of their visitationפְּקֻדָּתָ֖םpe.ku.da.TamH6486,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

13And I have seenרָאִ֣יתִיra.'I.tiH7200follyתִפְלָ֑הtif.LahH8604in the prophetsוּבִנְבִיאֵ֥יu.vin.vi.'EiH5030of Samariaשֹׁמְר֖וֹןsho.me.RonH8111;they prophesiedהִנַּבְּא֣וּhi.na.be.'UH5012in Baalבַבַּ֔עַלva.Ba.'alH1168,and caused my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478to errוַיַּתְע֥וּvai.yat.'UH8582.

14I have seenרָאִ֣יתִיra.'I.tiH7200also in the prophetsוּבִנְבִאֵ֨יu.vin.vi.'EiH5030of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389an horrible thingשַׁעֲרוּרָ֗הsha.'a.ru.RahH8186:they commit adulteryנָא֞וֹףna.'ofH5003,and walkוְהָלֹ֤ךְve.ha.LokhH1980in liesבַּשֶּׁ֙קֶר֙ba.She.kerH8267:they strengthenוְחִזְּקוּ֙ve.chi.ze.KuH2388also the handsיְדֵ֣יye.DeiH3027of evildoersמְרֵעִ֔יםme.re.'ImH7489,that noneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376doth returnשָׁ֔בוּSha.vuH7725from his wickednessמֵרָֽעָת֑וֹme.ra.'a.ToH7451:they are all of them unto me as Sodomכִּסְדֹ֔םkis.DomH5467,and the inhabitantsוְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָve.yo.she.Vei.haH3427thereof as Gomorrahכַּעֲמֹרָֽה׃ סka.'a.mo.RahH6017.

15Therefore thus saithאָמַ֨ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635concerning the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030;Behold, I will feedמַאֲכִ֤ילma.'a.KhilH398them with wormwoodלַֽעֲנָ֔הla.'a.NahH3939,and make them drinkוְהִשְׁקִתִ֖יםve.hish.ki.TimH8248the waterמֵי־mei-H4325of gallרֹ֑אשׁRoshH7219:for from the prophetsנְבִיאֵ֣יne.vi.'EiH5030of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389is profanenessחֲנֻפָּ֖הcha.nu.PahH2613gone forthיָצְאָ֥הya.tze.'AhH3318into all the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ פha.'A.retzH776.

16Thus saithאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,Hearkenתִּשְׁמְע֞וּtish.me.'UH8085not unto the wordsדִּבְרֵ֤יdiv.ReiH1697of the prophetsהַנְּבִאִים֙ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030that prophesyהַנִּבְּאִ֣יםha.ni.be.'ImH5012unto you: they make you vainמַהְבִּלִ֥יםmah.bi.LimH1891:they speakיְדַבֵּ֔רוּye.da.Be.ruH1696a visionחֲז֤וֹןcha.ZonH2377of their own heartלִבָּם֙li.BamH3820, andnot out of the mouthמִפִּ֥יmi.PiH6310of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

17They sayאֹמְרִ֤ים'o.me.RimH559stillאָמוֹר֙'a.mOrH559unto them that despiseלִֽמְנַאֲצַ֔יlim.na.'a.TzaiH5006me, The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068hath saidדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696,Ye shall have peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965;and they sayאָֽמְר֔וּ'a.me.RuH559unto every one that walkethהֹלֵ֞ךְho.LekhH1980after the imaginationבִּשְׁרִר֤וּתbish.ri.RutH8307of his own heartלִבּוֹ֙li.BoH3820,No evilרָעָֽה׃ra.'AhH7451shall comeתָב֥וֹאta.Vo'H935upon you.

18For who hath stoodעָמַד֙'a.MadH5975in the counselבְּס֣וֹדbe.SodH5475of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and hath perceivedוְיֵ֖רֶאve.Ye.re'H7200and heardוְיִשְׁמַ֣עve.yish.Ma'H8085his wordדְּבָר֑וֹde.va.RoH1697?who hath markedהִקְשִׁ֥יבhik.ShivH7181his wordדְּבָר֖וֹde.va.roH1697,and heardוַיִּשְׁמָֽע׃ סvai.yish.Ma'H8085it?

19Behold, a whirlwindסַעֲרַ֣תsa.'a.RatH5591of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068is gone forthיָֽצְאָ֔הya.tze.'AhH3318in furyחֵמָה֙che.MahH2534,even a grievousמִתְחוֹלֵ֑לmit.cho.LelH2342whirlwindוְסַ֖עַרve.Sa.'arH5591:it shall fall grievouslyיָחֽוּל׃ya.ChulH2342upon the headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֖יםre.sha.'ImH7563.

20The angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068shall not returnיָשׁוּב֙ya.ShuvH7725,until he have executedעֲשֹׂת֥וֹa.so.ToH6213,and till he have performedהֲקִימ֖וֹha.ki.MoH6965the thoughtsמְזִמּ֣וֹתme.zi.MotH4209of his heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820:in the latterבְּאַֽחֲרִית֙be.'a.cha.RitH319daysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117ye shall considerתִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּtit.Bo.nuH995it perfectlyבִּינָֽה׃bi.NahH998.

21I have not sentשָׁלַ֥חְתִּיsha.Lach.tiH7971these prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,yet they ranרָ֑צוּRa.tzuH7323:I have not spokenדִבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to them, yet they prophesiedנִבָּֽאוּ׃ni.Ba.'uH5012.

22But if they had stoodעָמְד֖וּ'a.me.DuH5975in my counselבְּסוֹדִ֑יbe.so.DiH5475,and had caused my peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971to hearוְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּve.yash.Mi.'uH8085my wordsדְבָרַי֙de.va.RaiH1697,then they should have turnedוִֽישִׁבוּם֙vi.shi.VumH7725them from their evilהָרָ֔עha.Ra'H7451wayמִדַּרְכָּ֣םmi.dar.KamH1870,and from the evilוּמֵרֹ֖עַu.me.Ro.a'H7455of their doingsמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ סMa.'a.lei.HemH4611.

23AmI a Godהַאֱלֹהֵ֧יha.'e.lo.HeiH430at handמִקָּרֹ֛בmi.ka.RoH7138,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and not a Godאֱלֹהֵ֖י'e.lo.HeiH430afar offמֵרָחֹֽק׃me.ra.ChokH7350?

24Can anyאִ֧ישׁ'ishH376hideיִסָּתֵ֨רyi.sa.TerH5641himself in secret placesבַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛יםba.mis.ta.RimH4565that I shall not seeאֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ'er.'E.nuH7200him? saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.Do not I fillH4392heavenהַשָּׁמַ֧יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and earthהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776?saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

25I have heardשָׁמַ֗עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085what the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030saidאָֽמְרוּ֙'a.me.RuH559,that prophesyהַֽנִּבְּאִ֥יםha.ni.be.'ImH5012liesשֶׁ֖קֶרShe.kerH8267in my nameבִּשְׁמִ֛יbish.MiH8034,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,I have dreamedחָלַ֖מְתִּיcha.Lam.tiH2492,I have dreamedחָלָֽמְתִּי׃cha.La.me.tiH2492.

26How long shall thisbeהֲיֵ֛שׁha.YeshH3426in the heartבְּלֵ֥בbe.LevH3820of the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030that prophesyנִבְּאֵ֣יni.be.'EiH5012liesהַשָּׁ֑קֶרha.Sha.kerH8267? yea, they areprophetsוּנְבִיאֵ֖יu.ne.vi.'EiH5030of the deceitתַּרְמִ֥תtar.MitH8649of their own heartלִבָּֽם׃li.BamH3820;

27Which thinkהַחֹשְׁבִ֗יםha.cho.she.VimH2803to cause my peopleעַמִּי֙'a.MiH5971to forgetלְהַשְׁכִּ֤יחַle.hash.Ki.achH7911my nameשְׁמִ֔יshe.MiH8034by their dreamsבַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔םba.cha.Lo.mo.TamH2472which they tellיְסַפְּר֖וּye.sa.pe.RuH5608every manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376to his neighbourלְרֵעֵ֑הוּle.re.'E.huH7453,as their fathersאֲבוֹתָ֛ם'a.vo.TamH1have forgottenשָׁכְח֧וּsha.khe.ChuH7911my nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034for Baalבַּבָּֽעַל׃ba.Ba.'alH1168.

28The prophetהַנָּבִ֞יאha.na.Vi'H5030that hath a dreamחֲלוֹם֙cha.lOmH2472,let him tellיְסַפֵּ֣רye.sa.PerH5608a dreamחֲל֔וֹםcha.LomH2472;and he that hath my wordדְּבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697,let him speakיְדַבֵּ֥רye.da.BerH1696my wordדְּבָרִ֖יde.va.RiH1697faithfullyאֱמֶ֑ת'e.MetH571. What isthe chaffלַתֶּ֥בֶןla.Te.venH8401to the wheatהַבָּ֖רha.BarH1250?saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

29Isnot my wordדְבָרִ֛יde.va.RiH1697likeכֹ֧הkhohH3541as a fireכָּאֵ֖שׁka.'EshH784?saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;and like a hammerוּכְפַטִּ֖ישׁu.khe.fa.TishH6360thatbreakethH6327the rockסָֽלַע׃ סSa.la'H5553in piecesH6327?

30Therefore, behold, I amagainst the prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,that stealמְגַנְּבֵ֣יme.ga.ne.VeiH1589my wordsדְבָרַ֔יde.va.RaiH1697every oneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376from his neighbourרֵעֵֽהוּ׃re.'E.huH7453.

31Behold, I amagainst the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֖םha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,that useהַלֹּקְחִ֣יםha.lo.ke.ChimH3947their tonguesלְשׁוֹנָ֔םle.sho.NamH3956,and sayוַֽיִּנְאֲמ֖וּvai.yin.'a.MuH5001,He saithנְאֻֽם׃ne.'UmH5002.

32Behold, I amagainst them that prophesyנִבְּאֵ֞יni.be.'EiH5012falseשֶׁ֙קֶר֙she.kerH8267dreamsחֲלֹמ֥וֹתcha.lo.MotH2472,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and do tellוַֽיְסַפְּרוּם֙vay.sa.pe.RumH5608them, and cause my peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971to errוַיַּתְע֣וּvai.yat.'UH8582by their liesבְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖םbe.shik.rei.HemH8267,and by their lightnessוּבְפַחֲזוּתָ֑םu.ve.fa.cha.zu.TamH6350;yet I sentשְׁלַחְתִּ֜יםshe.lach.TimH7971them not, nor commandedצִוִּיתִ֗יםtzi.vi.TimH6680them: therefore they shall not profitוְהוֹעֵ֛ילve.ho.'EilH3276this peopleלָֽעָם־la.'om-H5971at allיוֹעִ֥ילוּyo.'I.luH3276,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

33And when this peopleהָעָ֨םha.'AmH5971,or the prophetהַנָּבִ֤יאha.na.Vi'H5030,or a priestכֹהֵן֙kho.HenH3548,shall askיִשְׁאָלְךָ֩yish.'a.le.KhaH7592thee, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, What isthe burdenמַשָּׂ֖אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068?thou shalt then sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֤ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto them, What burdenמַשָּׂ֔אma.Sa'H4853?I will even forsakeוְנָטַשְׁתִּ֥יve.na.tash.TiH5203you, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

34And as forthe prophetוְהַנָּבִ֤יאve.ha.na.Vi'H5030,and the priestוְהַכֹּהֵן֙ve.ha.ko.HenH3548,and the peopleוְהָעָ֔םve.ha.'AmH5971,that shall sayיֹאמַ֖רyo.MarH559,The burdenמַשָּׂ֣אma.Sa'H4853of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,I will even punishוּפָקַדְתִּ֛יu.fa.kad.TiH6485that manהָאִ֥ישׁha.'IshH376and his houseבֵּיתֽוֹ׃bei.ToH1004.

35Thus shall ye sayתֹאמְר֛וּto.me.RuH559every oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his neighbourרֵעֵ֖הוּre.'E.huH7453,and every oneוְאִ֣ישׁve.'IshH376to his brotherאָחִ֑יו'a.ChivH251,What hath the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068answeredעָנָ֣ה'a.NahH6030?and, What hath the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068spokenדִּבֶּ֖רdi.BerH1696?
