9Wherefore I will yet pleadאָרִ֥יב'a.RivH7378with you, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and with your children’sבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121childrenבְנֵיכֶ֖םve.nei.KhemH1121will I pleadאָרִֽיב׃'a.RivH7378.

10For pass overעִבְר֞וּ'iv.RuH5674the islesאִיֵּ֤י'i.YeiH339of Chittimכִתִּיִּים֙khi.ti.YimH3794,and seeוּרְא֔וּu.re.'UH7200;and sendשִׁלְח֥וּshil.ChuH7971unto Kedarוְקֵדָ֛רve.ke.DarH6938,and considerוְהִֽתְבּוֹנְנ֖וּve.hit.bo.NuH995diligentlyמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966,and seeוּרְא֕וּu.re.'UH7200if there be such a thing.

11Hath a nationגּוֹי֙goyH1471changedהַהֵימִ֥ירha.hei.MirH3235theirgodsאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430, which areyet no godsאֱלֹהִ֑ים'E.lo.HimH430?but my peopleוְעַמִּ֛יve.'a.MiH5971have changedהֵמִ֥ירhe.MirH4171their gloryכְּבוֹד֖וֹke.vo.DoH3519for that whichdoth not profitיוֹעִֽיל׃yo.'IlH3276.

12Be astonishedשֹׁ֥מּוּSho.muH8074,O ye heavensשָׁמַ֖יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064,at this, and be horribly afraidוְשַׂעֲר֛וּve.sa.'a.RuH8175,be ye veryמְאֹ֖דme.'OdH3966desolateחָרְב֥וּcha.re.VuH2717,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

13For my peopleעַמִּ֑י'a.MiH5971have committedעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213twoשְׁתַּ֥יִםshe.Ta.yimH8147evilsרָע֖וֹתra.'otH7451;they have forsakenעָזְב֜וּ'a.ze.VuH5800me the fountainמְק֣וֹר׀me.KorH4726of livingחַיִּ֗יםchai.YimH2416watersמַ֣יִםMa.yimH4325, andhewed them outלַחְצֹ֤בlach.TzoH2672cisternsבֹּאר֔וֹתbo.RotH877,brokenנִשְׁבָּרִ֔יםnish.ba.RimH7665cisternsבֹּארֹת֙bo.RotH877,that can holdיָכִ֖לוּya.Khi.luH3557no waterהַמָּֽיִם׃ha.Ma.yimH4325.

14IsIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478a servantהַעֶ֙בֶד֙ha.'E.vedH5650? ishe a homebornיְלִ֥יד בַּ֖יִתye.Lid Ba.yitH3211 H1004slave?whyמַדּ֖וּעַma.Du.a'H4069is he spoiledלָבַֽז׃la.VazH957?

15The young lionsכְפִרִ֔יםkhe.fi.RimH3715roaredיִשְׁאֲג֣וּyish.'a.GuH7580upon him, andyelledנָתְנ֖וּ קוֹלָ֑םna.te.Nu ko.LamH6963 H5414,and they madeוַיָּשִׁ֤יתוּvai.ya.Shi.tuH7896his landאַרְצוֹ֙'ar.TzoH776wasteלְשַׁמָּ֔הle.sha.MahH8047:his citiesעָרָ֥יו'a.RavH5892are burnedנִצְּת֖וּni.tze.tahH3341without inhabitantיֹשֵֽׁב׃yo.ShevH3427.

16Also the childrenבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Nophנֹ֖ףnofH5297and Tahapanesוְתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑סve.tach.pe.nesH8471have brokenיִרְע֖וּךְyir.'UkhH7462the crown of thy headקָדְקֹֽד׃ka.de.KodH6936.

17Hast thou not procuredתַּעֲשֶׂה־ta.'a.seh-H6213this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsakenעָזְבֵךְ֙'a.ze.veKhH5800the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהַ֔יִךְ'e.lo.Ha.yikhH430,whenבְּעֵ֖תbe.'EtH6256he ledH3212thee by the wayבַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ba.Da.rekhH1870?

18And now what hast thou to do in the wayלְדֶ֣רֶךְle.De.rekhH1870of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,to drinkלִשְׁתּ֖וֹתlish.TotH8354the watersמֵ֣יmeiH4325of Sihorשִׁח֑וֹרshi.ChorH7883?or what hast thou to do in the wayלְדֶ֣רֶךְle.De.rekhH1870of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804,to drinkלִשְׁתּ֖וֹתlish.TotH8354the watersמֵ֥יmeiH4325of the riverנָהָֽר׃na.HarH5104?
