Genesis 50:14-26

14And Josephיוֹסֵ֤ףyo.SefH3130returnedוַיָּ֨שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725into Egyptמִצְרַ֙יְמָה֙mitz.Ray.mahH4714,he, and his brethrenוְאֶחָ֔יוve.'e.ChavH251,and all that went upהָעֹלִ֥יםha.'o.LimH5927with him to buryלִקְבֹּ֣רlik.BorH6912his fatherאָבִ֑יו'a.VivH1,afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310he had buriedקָבְר֥וֹka.ve.RoH6912his fatherאָבִֽיו׃'a.VivH1.

15And when Joseph’sיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130brethrenאֲחֵֽי־'a.chei-H251sawוַיִּרְא֤וּvai.yir.'UH7200that their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֔ם'a.vi.HemH1was deadמֵ֣תmetH4191,they saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559,Josephיוֹסֵ֑ףyo.SefH3130will peradventureל֥וּluH3863hate usיִשְׂטְמֵ֖נוּyis.te.Me.nuH7852,and will certainlyוְהָשֵׁ֤בve.ha.ShevH7725requiteיָשִׁיב֙ya.ShivH7725us all the evilהָ֣רָעָ֔הha.ra.'AhH7451which we didגָּמַ֖לְנוּga.Mal.nuH1580unto him.

16And they sent a messengerוַיְצַוּ֕וּvay.tza.VuH6680unto Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Thy fatherאָבִ֣יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1did commandצִוָּ֔הtzi.VahH6680beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440he diedמוֹת֖וֹmo.ToH4194,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

17So shall ye sayתֹאמְר֣וּto.me.RuH559unto Josephלְיוֹסֵ֗ףle.yo.SefH3130,Forgiveשָׂ֣אsa'H5375,I pray theeאָ֣נָּ֡א'a.Na'H577now, the trespassפֶּ֣שַׁעPe.sha'H6588of thy brethrenאַחֶ֤יךָ'a.Chei.khaH251,and their sinוְחַטָּאתָם֙ve.cha.ta.TamH2403;for they didגְמָל֔וּךָge.ma.Lu.khaH1580unto thee evilרָעָ֣הra.'AhH7451:and now, we pray thee, forgiveשָׂ֣אsa'H5375the trespassלְפֶ֥שַׁעle.Fe.sha'H6588of the servantsעַבְדֵ֖י'av.DeiH5650of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of thy fatherאָבִ֑יךָ'a.Vi.khaH1.And Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130weptוַיֵּ֥בְךְּvai.Ye.vekH1058when they spakeבְּדַבְּרָ֥םbe.da.be.RamH1696unto him.

18And his brethrenאֶחָ֔יו'e.ChavH251also wentH3212and fell downוַֽיִּפְּל֖וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307before his faceלְפָנָ֑יוle.fa.NavH6440;and they saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559, Behold, we bethy servantsלַעֲבָדִֽים׃la.'a.va.DimH5650.

19And Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Fearתִּירָ֑אוּti.Ra.'uH3372not: for amI in the place of Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430?

20But as for you, ye thoughtחֲשַׁבְתֶּ֥םcha.shav.TemH2803evilרָעָ֑הra.'AhH7451against me; butGodאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430meant itחֲשָׁבָ֣הּcha.sha.VahH2803unto goodלְטֹבָ֔הle.to.VahH2896,toלְמַ֗עַןle.Ma.'anH4616bring to passעֲשֹׂ֛ה'a.SohH6213, as it isthis dayכַּיּ֥וֹםkai.YomH3117,to saveH2421muchרָֽב׃RavH7227peopleעַם־'am-H5971aliveלְהַחֲיֹ֥תle.ha.cha.YotH2421.

21Now therefore fearתִּירָ֔אוּti.Ra.'uH3372ye not: I will nourishאֲכַלְכֵּ֥ל'a.khal.KelH3557you, and your little onesטַפְּכֶ֑םta.pe.KhemH2945.And he comfortedוַיְנַחֵ֣םvay.na.ChemH5162them, and spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֖רvay.da.BerH1696kindlyלִבָּֽם׃li.BamH3820unto them.

24And Josephיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his brethrenאֶחָ֔יו'e.ChavH251,I dieמֵ֑תMetH4191:and Godוֵֽאלֹהִ֞יםve.lo.HimH430will surelyפָּקֹ֧דpa.KodH6485visitיִפְקֹ֣דyif.KodH6485you, and bring you outוְהֶעֱלָ֤הve.he.'e.LahH5927of this landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776unto the landהָאָ֕רֶץha.'A.retzH776which he swareנִשְׁבַּ֛עnish.Ba'H7650to Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֥םle.'av.ra.HamH85,to Isaacלְיִצְחָ֖קle.yitz.ChakH3327,and to Jacobוּֽלְיַעֲקֹֽב׃u.le.ya.'a.koH3290.

25And Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130took an oathוַיַּשְׁבַּ֣עvai.yash.Ba'H7650of the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430will surelyפָּקֹ֨דpa.KodH6485visitיִפְקֹ֤דyif.KodH6485you, and ye shall carry upוְהַעֲלִתֶ֥םve.ha.'a.li.TemH5927my bonesעַצְמֹתַ֖י'atz.mo.TaiH6106from henceמִזֶּֽה׃mi.ZehH2088.

26So Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130diedוַיָּ֣מָתvai.Ya.motH4191, beingan hundredמֵאָ֥הme.'AhH3967and tenוָעֶ֖שֶׂרva.'E.serH6235yearsשָׁנִ֑יםsha.NimH8141oldבֶּן־ben-H1121:and they embalmedוַיַּחַנְט֣וּvai.ya.chan.TuH2590him, and he was putוַיִּ֥ישֶׂםvai.Yi.semH3455in a coffinבָּאָר֖וֹןba.'a.RonH727in Egyptבְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃be.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.
