Genesis 29:15-30

15And Labanלָבָן֙la.VanH3837saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Jacobלְיַעֲקֹ֔בle.ya.'a.KoH3290, Because thou artmy brotherאָחִ֣י'a.ChiH251,shouldest thou therefore serveוַעֲבַדְתַּ֖נִיva.'a.vad.Ta.niH5647me for noughtחִנָּ֑םchi.NamH2600?tellהַגִּ֥ידָהha.Gi.dahH5046me, what shallthy wagesמַּשְׂכֻּרְתֶּֽךָ׃mas.kur.Te.khaH4909be?

16And Labanוּלְלָבָ֖ןu.le.la.VanH3837had twoשְׁתֵּ֣יshe.TeiH8147daughtersבָנ֑וֹתva.NotH1323:the nameשֵׁ֤םshemH8034of the elderהַגְּדֹלָה֙ha.ge.do.LahH1419wasLeahלֵאָ֔הle.'AhH3812,and the nameוְשֵׁ֥םve.ShemH8034of the youngerהַקְּטַנָּ֖הha.ke.ta.NahH6996wasRachelרָחֵֽל׃ra.ChelH7354.

17Leahלֵאָ֖הle.'AhH3812wastenderרַכּ֑וֹתra.KotH7390eyedוְעֵינֵ֥יve.'ei.NeiH5869;but Rachelוְרָחֵל֙ve.ra.ChelH7354was beautifulיְפַת־ תֹּ֖אַרye.fat- To.'arH8389 H3303and wellוִיפַ֥תvi.FatH3303favouredמַרְאֶֽה׃mar.'EhH4758.

18And Jacobיַעֲקֹ֖בya.'a.KoH3290lovedוַיֶּאֱהַ֥בvai.ye.'e.HavH157Rachelרָחֵ֑לra.ChelH7354;and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,I will serveאֶֽעֱבָדְךָ֙'e.'e.va.de.KhaH5647thee sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֔יםsha.NimH8141for Rachelבְּרָחֵ֥לbe.ra.ChelH7354thy youngerהַקְּטַנָּֽה׃ha.ke.ta.NahH6996daughterבִּתְּךָ֖bi.te.KhaH1323.

19And Labanלָבָ֗ןla.VanH3837saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, It isbetterט֤וֹבTovH2896that I giveתִּתִּ֣יti.TiH5414her to thee, than that I should giveמִתִּתִּ֥יmi.ti.TiH5414her to anotherאַחֵ֑ר'a.CherH312manלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376:abideשְׁבָ֖הshe.VahH3427with me.

20And Jacobיַעֲקֹ֛בya.'a.KoH3290servedוַיַּעֲבֹ֧דvai.ya.'a.VodH5647sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651yearsשָׁנִ֑יםsha.NimH8141for Rachelבְּרָחֵ֖לbe.ra.ChelH7354;and they seemedבְעֵינָיו֙ve.'ei.NavH5869unto him buta fewאֲחָדִ֔ים'a.cha.DimH259daysכְּיָמִ֣יםke.ya.MimH3117,for the love he hadבְּאַהֲבָת֖וֹbe.'a.ha.va.ToH160to her.

21And Jacobיַעֲקֹ֤בya.'a.KoH3290saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Labanלָבָן֙la.VanH3837,Giveהָבָ֣הha.VahH3051memy wifeאִשְׁתִּ֔י'ish.TiH802,for my daysיָמָ֑יya.MaiH3117are fulfilledמָלְא֖וּmal.'UH4390,that I may go inוְאָב֖וֹאָהve.'a.Vo.'ahH935unto her.

22And Labanלָבָ֛ןla.VanH3837gathered togetherוַיֶּאֱסֹ֥ףvai.ye.'e.SofH622all the menאַנְשֵׁ֥י'an.SheiH582of the placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and madeוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213a feastמִשְׁתֶּֽה׃mish.TehH4960.

23And it came to pass in the eveningבָעֶ֔רֶבva.'E.revH6153,that he tookוַיִּקַּח֙vai.yi.KachH3947Leahלֵאָ֣הle.'AhH3812his daughterבִתּ֔וֹvi.ToH1323,and broughtוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935her to him; and he went inוַיָּבֹ֖אvai.ya.Vo'H935unto her.

24And Labanלָבָן֙la.VanH3837gaveוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414unto his daughterבִתּ֖וֹvi.ToH1323Leahלְלֵאָ֥הle.le.'AhH3812Zilpahזִלְפָּ֖הzil.PahH2153his maidשִׁפְחָת֑וֹshif.cha.ToH8198foran handmaidשִׁפְחָֽה׃shif.ChahH8198.

25And it came to pass, that in the morningבַבֹּ֔קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242, behold, it wasLeahלֵאָ֑הle.'AhH3812:and he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Labanלָבָ֗ןla.VanH3837, What isthis thou hast doneעָשִׂ֣יתָ'a.Si.taH6213unto me? did not I serveעָבַ֣דְתִּי'a.Vad.tiH5647with thee for Rachelבְרָחֵל֙ve.ra.ChelH7354?wherefore then hast thou beguiledרִמִּיתָֽנִי׃ri.mi.Ta.niH7411me?

26And Labanלָבָ֔ןla.VanH3837saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,It must not be so doneיֵעָשֶׂ֥הye.'a.SehH6213in our countryבִּמְקוֹמֵ֑נוּbim.ko.Me.nuH4725,to giveלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414the youngerהַצְּעִירָ֖הha.tze.'i.RahH6810beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the firstbornהַבְּכִירָֽה׃ha.be.khi.RahH1067.

27Fulfilמַלֵּ֖אma.Le'H4390herH2063weekשְׁבֻ֣עַshe.Vu.a'H7620,and we will giveוְנִתְּנָ֨הve.ni.te.NahH5414thee this also for the serviceבַּעֲבֹדָה֙ba.'a.vo.DahH5656which thou shalt serveתַּעֲבֹ֣דta.'a.VodH5647with me yet sevenשֶֽׁבַע־she.va'-H7651otherאֲחֵרֽוֹת׃'a.che.RotH312yearsשָׁנִ֥יםsha.NimH8141.

28And Jacobיַעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290didוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213so, and fulfilledוַיְמַלֵּ֖אvay.ma.Le'H4390her weekשְׁבֻ֣עַshe.Vu.a'H7620:and he gaveוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414him Rachelרָחֵ֥לra.ChelH7354his daughterבִּתּ֖וֹbi.ToH1323to wifeלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802also.

29And Labanלָבָן֙la.VanH3837gaveוַיִּתֵּ֤ןvai.yi.TenH5414to Rachelלְרָחֵ֣לle.ra.ChelH7354his daughterבִּתּ֔וֹbi.ToH1323Bilhahבִּלְהָ֖הbil.HahH1090his handmaidשִׁפְחָת֑וֹshif.cha.ToH8198to be her maidלְשִׁפְחָֽה׃le.shif.ChahH8198.

30And he went inוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935also unto Rachelרָחֵ֔לra.ChelH7354,and he lovedוַיֶּאֱהַ֥בvai.ye.'e.HavH157also Rachelרָחֵ֖לra.ChelH7354more than Leahמִלֵּאָ֑הmi.le.'AhH3812,and servedוַיַּעֲבֹ֣דvai.ya.'a.VodH5647with him yet sevenשֶֽׁבַע־she.va'-H7651otherאֲחֵרֽוֹת׃'a.che.RotH312yearsשָׁנִ֥יםsha.NimH8141.
