2And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֗ם'av.ra.HamH85saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto his eldestזְקַ֣ןze.KanH2205servantעַבְדּוֹ֙av.DoH5650of his houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,that ruled overהַמֹּשֵׁ֖לha.mo.ShelH4910all that he had, Putשִֽׂים־sim-H7760,I pray thee, thy handיָדְךָ֖ya.de.KhaH3027under my thighיְרֵכִֽי׃ye.re.KhiH3409:

3And I will make thee swearוְאַשְׁבִּ֣יעֲךָ֔ve.'ash.Bi.'a.khaH7650by the Lordבַּֽיהוָה֙ba.Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and the Godוֵֽאלֹהֵ֖יve.lo.HeiH430of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,that thou shalt not takeתִקַּ֤חti.KachH3947a wifeאִשָּׁה֙'i.ShahH802unto my sonלִבְנִ֔יliv.NiH1121of the daughtersמִבְּנוֹת֙mi.be.noTH1323of the Canaanitesהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔יha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669,amongבְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃be.kir.BoH7130whom I dwellיוֹשֵׁ֥בyo.ShevH3427:

4But thou shalt goH3212unto my countryאַרְצִ֛י'ar.TziH776,and to my kindredמוֹלַדְתִּ֖יmo.lad.TiH4138,and takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֥ve.la.kach.TaH3947a wifeאִשָּׁ֖ה'i.ShahH802unto my sonלִבְנִ֥יliv.NiH1121Isaacלְיִצְחָֽק׃le.yitz.ChakH3327.

5And the servantהָעֶ֔בֶדha.'E.vedH5650saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Peradventure the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֔הha.'i.ShahH802will not be willingתֹאבֶ֣הto.VehH14to followH3212meאַחֲרַ֖י'a.cha.RaiH310unto this landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776:must I needs bringהֶֽהָשֵׁ֤בhe.ha.ShevH7725thy sonבִּנְךָ֔bin.KhaH1121againאָשִׁיב֙'a.ShivH7725unto the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776from whence thou camestיָצָ֥אתָya.Tza.taH3318?

6And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Bewareהִשָּׁ֣מֶרhi.Sha.merH8104thou that thou bringH7725notפֶּן־pen-H6435my sonבְּנִ֖יbe.NiH1121thither againH7725.

7The Lordיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֗יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,which took meלְקָחַ֜נִיle.ka.Cha.niH3947from my father’sאָבִי֮'a.ViH1houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004,and from the landוּמֵאֶ֣רֶץu.me.'E.retzH776of my kindredמֽוֹלַדְתִּי֒mo.lad.TiH4138,and which spakeדִּבֶּר־di.ber-H1696unto me, and that swareנִֽשְׁבַּֽע־nish.ba'-H7650unto me, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Unto thy seedלְזַ֨רְעֲךָ֔le.Zar.'a.khaH2233will I giveאֶתֵּ֖ן'e.TenH5414this landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776;he shall sendיִשְׁלַ֤חyish.LachH7971his angelמַלְאָכוֹ֙mal.'a.KhoH4397before theeלְפָנֶ֔יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440,and thou shalt takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֥ve.la.kach.TaH3947a wifeאִשָּׁ֛ה'i.ShahH802unto my sonלִבְנִ֖יliv.NiH1121from thence.

8And if the womanהָֽאִשָּׁה֙ha.'i.ShahH802will not be willingתֹאבֶ֤הto.VehH14to followH3212theeאַחֲרֶ֔יךָ'a.cha.Rei.khaH310,then thou shalt be clearוְנִקִּ֕יתָve.ni.Ki.taH5352from this my oathמִשְּׁבֻעָתִ֖יmi.she.vu.'a.TiH7621:only bringH7725not my sonבְּנִ֔יbe.NiH1121thither againH7725.

9And the servantהָעֶ֙בֶד֙ha.'E.vedH5650putוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760his handיָד֔וֹya.DoH3027under the thighיֶ֥רֶךְYe.rekhH3409of Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֖ם'av.ra.HamH85his masterאֲדֹנָ֑יו'a.do.NavH113,and swareוַיִּשָּׁ֣בַֽעvai.yi.Sha.va'H7650to him concerningעַל־'al-H5921thatהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088matterהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697.

10And the servantהָ֠עֶבֶדHa.'e.vedH5650tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947tenעֲשָׂרָ֨ה'a.sa.RahH6235camelsגְמַלִּ֜יםge.ma.LimH1581of the camelsמִגְּמַלֵּ֤יmi.ge.ma.LeiH1581of his masterאֲדֹנָיו֙'a.do.NavH113,and departedH3212;for all the goodsט֥וּבtuvH2898of his masterאֲדֹנָ֖יו'a.do.NavH113werein his handבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027:and he aroseוַיָּ֗קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and wentH3212to MesopotamiaH763,unto the cityעִ֥יר'irH5892of Nahorנָחֽוֹר׃na.ChorH5152.
