2 Samuel 23:18-23
18Now AbishaiH52, the brotherH251 of JoabH3097 and sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870, was chiefH7218 of the ThreeH7992,1 and heH1931 wieldedH5782 his spearH2595 againstH5921 threeH7969 hundredH3967 men, killedH2491 them, and won a nameH8034 along with the ThreeH7969. 19Was he notH3588 more honoredH3513 thanH4480 the ThreeH7969?2 And he becameH1961 their commanderH8269H5704, even though he was notH3808 includedH935 among the ThreeH7969.
20And BenaiahH1141 sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077 was a manH1121H376 of valorH24163 from KabzeelH6909, a man of manyH7227 exploitsH6467. He struck downH5221 twoH8147 championsH7394 of MoabH4124, and on a snowyH7950 dayH3117 heH1931 went downH3381 intoH8432 a pitH953 and killedH5221 a lionH738. 21HeH1931 also struck downH5221 an EgyptianH4713, a hugeH4758 manH376. Although the EgyptianH4713 had a spearH2595 in his handH3027, Benaiah went againstH3381 himH413 with a clubH7626, snatchedH1497 the spearH2595 fromH4713 his handH3027, and killedH2026 the Egyptian with his own spearH2595. 22TheseH428 were the exploitsH6213 of BenaiahH1141 sonH1121 of JehoiadaH3077, who won a nameH8034 along with the threeH7969 mighty menH1368. 23He was most honoredH3513 amongH4480 the ThirtyH7970, but he did notH3808 becomeH935 one of the ThreeH7969. And DavidH1732 appointed himH7760 overH413 his guardH4928.
