1This isthe burdenמַשָּׂ֥אma.Sa'H4853of the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068concerningעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478. Thusdeclaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,who stretches outנֹטֶ֤הno.TehH5186the heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064and lays the foundationוְיֹסֵ֣דve.yo.SedH3245of the earthאָ֔רֶץ'A.retzH776,who formsוְיֹצֵ֥רve.yo.TzerH3335the spiritרֽוּחַ־Ru.ach-H7307of manאָדָ֖ם'a.DamH120within himבְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ פbe.kir.BoH7130:
2“Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,Iאָ֠נֹכִי'A.no.khiH595will makeשָׂ֣םsamH7760אֶת־'et-H853Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֧םye.ru.sha.LimH3389a cupסַף־saf-H5592of drunkennessרַ֛עַלRa.'alH7478to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the surroundingסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439peoplesהָעַמִּ֖יםha.'a.MimH5971וְגַ֧םve.GamH1571עַל־'al-H5921.Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063will beיִֽהְיֶ֥הyih.YehH1961besiegedבַמָּצ֖וֹרva.ma.TzorH4692,as well asעַל־'al-H5921Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.
3וְהָיָ֣הve.ha.YahH1961On thatהַ֠הוּאHa.hu'H1931dayבַיּוֹם־vai.yom-H3117,when allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the nationsגּוֹיֵ֥יgo.YeiH1471of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776gatherוְנֶאֶסְפ֣וּve.ne.'es.FuH622against herעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921,I will makeאָשִׂ֨ים'a.SimH7760אֶת־'et-H853Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389a heavyמַֽעֲמָסָה֙ma.'a.ma.SahH4614stoneאֶ֤בֶן'E.venH68for allכָּל־kol-H3605the peoplesהָ֣עַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971;allכֹּ֖לkolH3605who would heave it awayעֹמְסֶ֖יהָ'o.me.Sei.haH6006will be severely injuredH8295.
4On thatהַה֜וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֨וֹםbai.YomH3117,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,I will strikeאַכֶּ֤ה'a.KehH5221everyכָל־khol-H3605horseסוּס֙susH5483with panicבַּתִּמָּה֔וֹןba.ti.ma.HonH8541,and every riderוְרֹכְב֖וֹve.ro.khe.VoH7392with madnessבַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹןba.shi.ga.'onH7697.I will keep a watchfulאֶפְקַ֣ח'ef.KachH6491אֶת־'et-H853eyeעֵינַ֔י'ei.NaiH5869onוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063,but I will strikeאַכֶּ֖ה'a.KehH5221with blindnessבַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן׃Ba.'i.va.RonH5788allוְכֹל֙ve.KholH3605the horsesס֣וּסsusH5483of the nationsהָֽעַמִּ֔יםha.'a.MimH5971.
5Then the leadersאַלֻּפֵ֥י'a.lu.FeiH441of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063will sayוְאָֽמְר֛וּve.'a.me.RuH559in their heartsבְּלִבָּ֑םbe.li.BamH3820: ‘The peopleיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389are my strengthאַמְצָ֥ה'am.TzahH556,for the LORDבַּיהוָ֥הba.Yah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635istheir Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430.’
