5They will beוְהָי֨וּve.ha.YuH1961like mighty menכְגִבֹּרִ֜יםkhe.gi.bo.RimH1368in battleבַּמִּלְחָמָ֔הba.mil.cha.MahH4421,tramplingבּוֹסִ֨יםbo.SimH947the enemyin the mireבְּטִ֤יטbe.TitH2916of the streetsחוּצוֹת֙chu.tzOtH2351.They will fightוְנִ֨לְחֲמ֔וּve.Nil.cha.MuH3898becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068is with themעִמָּ֑ם'i.MamH5973,and they will put the horsemenרֹכְבֵ֥י סוּסִֽים׃ro.khe.Vei su.SimH7392 H5483to shameוְהֹבִ֖ישׁוּve.ho.Vi.shuH954.

6I will strengthenוְגִבַּרְתִּ֣י׀ve.gi.bar.TiH1396אֶת־'et-H853the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and saveאוֹשִׁ֔יעַ'o.Shi.a'H3467the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of Josephיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130.I will restore themוְהֽוֹשְׁבוֹתִים֙ve.ho.she.vo.TimH7725becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588I have compassion on themרִֽחַמְתִּ֔יםri.cham.TimH7355,and they will beוְהָי֖וּve.ha.YuH1961as thoughכַּאֲשֶׁ֣רka.'a.SherH834I had notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808rejected themזְנַחְתִּ֑יםze.nach.TimH2186.Forכִּ֗יKiH3588Iאֲנִ֛י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430,and I will answer themוְאֶעֱנֵֽם׃ve.'e.'e.NemH6030.

7Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669will beוְהָי֤וּve.ha.YuH1961like a mighty manכְגִבּוֹר֙khe.gi.bOrH1368,and their heartsלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820will be gladוְשָׂמַ֥חve.sa.MachH8055asכְּמוֹ־ke.mov-H3644with wineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196.Their childrenוּבְנֵיהֶם֙u.ve.nei.HemH1121will see itיִרְא֣וּyir.'UH7200and be joyfulוְשָׂמֵ֔חוּve.sa.Me.chuH8055;their heartsלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820will rejoiceיָגֵ֥לya.GelH1523in the LORDבַּיהוָֽה׃ba.Yah.wehH3068.

8I will whistleאֶשְׁרְקָ֥ה'esh.re.KahH8319for themto gatherוַאֲקַבְּצֵ֖םva.'a.ka.be.TzemH6908,forכִּ֣יkiH3588I have redeemed themפְדִיתִ֑יםfe.di.TimH6299;and they will be as numerousוְרָב֖וּve.ra.VuH7235asכְּמ֥וֹke.MoH3644they once wereרָבֽוּ׃ra.VuH7235.

9Though I sow themוְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ve.'ez.ra.'EmH2232among the nationsבָּֽעַמִּ֔יםba.'a.MimH5971,they will remember Meיִזְכְּר֑וּנִיyiz.ke.Ru.niH2142in distant landsוּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖יםu.vam.mer.cha.KimH4801;they and their childrenבְּנֵיהֶ֖םbe.nei.HemH1121will liveוְחָי֥וּ אֶת־ve.cha.Yu 'et-H2421 H854and returnוָשָֽׁבוּ׃va.Sha.vuH7725.

10I will bring them backוַהֲשִֽׁיבוֹתִים֙va.ha.shi.vo.TimH7725fromמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714and gather themאֲקַבְּצֵ֑ם'a.ka.be.TzemH6908from Assyriaוּמֵֽאַשּׁ֖וּרu.me.'a.ShurH804.I will bringאֲבִיאֵ֔ם'a.vi.'EmH935themוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413to Gileadאֶ֨רֶץ גִּלְעָ֤ד'E.retz gil.'AdH776 H1568and Lebanonוּלְבָנוֹן֙u.le.va.nOnH3844until noוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808more roomis foundיִמָּצֵ֖אyi.ma.Tze'H4672for them.
