13“Your wordsדִּבְרֵיכֶ֖םdiv.rei.KhemH1697against Meעָלַ֛י'a.LaiH5921have been harshחָזְק֥וּcha.ze.KuH2388,”saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068. “Yet you askוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֕םva.'a.mar.TemH559, ‘Whatמַה־mah-H4100have we spokenנִּדְבַּ֖רְנוּnid.Bar.nuH1696against Youעָלֶֽיךָ׃'a.Lei.khaH5921?’

14You have saidאֲמַרְתֶּ֕ם'a.mar.TemH559, ‘It is futileשָׁ֖וְאshav'H7723to serveעֲבֹ֣ד'a.VodH5647Godאֱלֹהִ֑ים'E.lo.HimH430.Whatוּמַה־u.mah-H4100have we gainedבֶּ֗צַע כִּ֤יBe.tza' kiH1215 H3588by keepingשָׁמַ֙רְנוּ֙sha.Mar.nuH8104His requirementsמִשְׁמַרְתּ֔וֹ וְכִ֤יmish.mar.To ve.KhiH4931 H3588and walkingהָלַ֙כְנוּ֙ha.Lakh.nuH1980mournfullyקְדֹ֣רַנִּ֔יתke.Do.ra.NitH6941beforeמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635?

15So nowוְעַתָּ֕הve.'a.TahH6258weאֲנַ֖חְנוּ'a.Nach.nuH587call the arrogantזֵדִ֑יםze.DimH2086blessedמְאַשְּׁרִ֣יםme.'a.she.RimH833.Not onlyגַּם־gam-H1571do evildoersעֹשֵׂ֣י רִשְׁעָ֔ה'o.Sei rish.'AhH6213 H7564prosperנִבְנוּ֙niv.NuH1129,they evenגַּ֧םgamH1571testבָּחֲנ֛וּba.cha.NuH974Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430and escapeוַיִּמָּלֵֽטוּ׃vai.yi.ma.Le.tuH4422.’”

16At that timeאָ֧ז'azH227those who fearedיִרְאֵ֥יyir.'EiH3373the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spokeנִדְבְּר֛וּnid.be.RuH1696with oneאִ֣ישׁ אֶת־'ish 'et-H376 H854anotherרֵעֵ֑הוּre.'E.huH7453,and the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068listenedוַיַּקְשֵׁ֤בvai.yak.ShevH7181and heardוַיִּשְׁמָ֔עvai.yish.Ma'H8085them.So a scrollסֵ֣פֶרSe.ferH5612of remembranceזִכָּר֤וֹןzi.ka.RonH2146was writtenוַ֠יִּכָּתֵבVai.yi.ka.tevH3789before Himלְפָנָיו֙le.fa.NavH6440regarding those who fearedלְיִרְאֵ֣יle.yir.'EiH3373the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068and honoredוּלְחֹשְׁבֵ֖יu.le.cho.she.VeiH2803His nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃she.MoH8034.

17“They will beוְהָ֣יוּve.Ha.yuH1961Mine,”saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, “on the dayלַיּ֕וֹםlai.YomH3117whenאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589prepareעֹשֶׂ֣ה'o.SehH6213My treasured possessionסְגֻלָּ֑הse.gu.LahH5459.And I will spareוְחָמַלְתִּ֣יve.cha.mal.TiH2550themעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם'a.lei.HemH5921asכַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ka.'a.SherH834a manאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376sparesיַחְמֹ֣לyach.MolH2550his ownעַל־'al-H5921sonבְּנ֖וֹbe.NoH1121who servesהָעֹבֵ֥דha.'o.VedH5647himאֹתֽוֹ׃'o.ToH853.

18So you will againוְשַׁבְתֶּם֙ve.shav.TemH7725distinguishוּרְאִיתֶ֔םu.re.'i.TemH7200betweenבֵּ֥יןbeinH996the righteousצַדִּ֖יקtza.DikH6662and the wickedלְרָשָׁ֑עle.ra.Sha'H7563,betweenבֵּ֚יןbeinH996those who serveעֹבֵ֣ד'o.VedH5647Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430and those whoלַאֲשֶׁ֖רla.'a.SherH834do notלֹ֥א עֲבָדֽוֹ׃ סlo' a.va.DoH3808 H5647.”
