1Now the angelמַלְאַךְ־mal.'akh-H4397of the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068went upוַיַּ֧עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927fromמִן־min-H4480Gilgalהַגִּלְגָּ֖לha.gil.GalH1537toאֶל־'el-H413Bochimהַבֹּכִ֑ים פha.bo.KhimH1066and saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559, “I brought you upאַעֲלֶ֨ה'a.'a.LehH5927אֶתְכֶ֜ם'et.KhemH853out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֗יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714and ledוָאָבִ֤יאva.'a.Vi'H935אֶתְכֶם֙'et.KhemH853you intoאֶל־'el-H413the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776thatאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834I had promisedנִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙nish.Ba'.tiH7650to your fathersלַאֲבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔םla.'a.Vo.tei.KhemH1,and I saidוָאֹמַ֕רva.'o.MarH559, ‘I will neverלֹֽא־ לְעוֹלָֽם׃lo'- le.'o.LamH3808 H5769breakאָפֵ֧ר'a.FerH6565My covenantבְּרִיתִ֛יbe.ri.TiH1285with youאִתְּכֶ֖ם'i.te.KhemH854,

2and youוְאַתֶּ֗םve.'a.TemH859are notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808to makeתִכְרְת֤וּtikh.re.TuH3772a covenantבְרִית֙ve.RitH1285with the peopleלְיֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙le.yo.she.VeiH3427of thisהַזֹּ֔אתha.ZotH2063landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776,but you shall tear downתִּתֹּצ֑וּןti.to.TzunH5422their altarsמִזְבְּחוֹתֵיהֶ֖םmiz.be.cho.tei.HemH4196.’Yet you have notוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808obeyedשְׁמַעְתֶּ֥םshe.ma'.TemH8085My voiceבְּקֹלִ֖יbe.ko.LiH6963.Whatמַה־mah-H4100is thisזֹּ֥אתzotH2063you have doneעֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃'a.si.TemH6213?

3So nowוְגַ֣םve.GamH1571I tell youאָמַ֔רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559that I will notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808drive outאֲגָרֵ֥שׁ'a.ga.ReshH1644these peopleאוֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853before youמִפְּנֵיכֶ֑םmi.pe.nei.KhemH6440;they will beוְהָי֤וּve.ha.YuH1961thorns in yoursidesלְצִדִּ֔יםle.tzi.DimH6654,and their godsוֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔םve.Lo.hei.HemH430will beיִהְי֥וּyih.YuH1961a snareלְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃le.mo.KeshH4170to you.”

4וַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961When the angelמַלְאַ֤ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068אֶת־'et-H853had spokenכְּדַבֵּ֞רke.da.BerH1696theseהָאֵ֔לֶּהha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697toאֶֽל־'el-H413allכָּל־kol-H3605the Israelitesבְּנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478,the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971אֶת־'et-H853lifted upוַיִּשְׂא֥וּvai.yis.'UH5375their voicesקוֹלָ֖םko.LamH6963and weptוַיִּבְכּֽוּ׃vai.yiv.KuH1058.

5So they calledוַֽיִּקְרְא֛וּ שֵֽׁם־vai.yik.re.'U shem-H7121 H8034thatהַה֖וּאha.Hu'H1931placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725Bochimבֹּכִ֑יםbo.KhimH1066and offered sacrificesוַיִּזְבְּחוּ־vai.yiz.be.chu-H2076thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033to the LORDלַֽיהוָֽה׃ פla.Yah.wehH3068.

6After Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091אֶת־'et-H853had dismissedוַיְשַׁלַּ֥חvay.sha.LachH7971the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971,the Israelitesבְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛לve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478went outוַיֵּלְכ֧וּvai.ye.le.KhuH1980to take possession ofלָרֶ֥שֶׁתla.Re.shetH3423אֶת־'et-H853the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776,eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his own inheritanceלְנַחֲלָת֖וֹle.na.cha.la.ToH5159.

8And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091sonבִּן־bin-H1121of Nunנ֖וּןnunH5126,the servantעֶ֣בֶד'E.vedH5650of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,diedוַיָּ֛מָתvai.Ya.motH4191at the ageבֶּן־ שָׁנִֽים׃ben- sha.NimH1121 H8141of 110מֵאָ֥ה וָעֶ֖שֶׂרme.'Ah va.'E.serH3967 H6235.

9They buriedוַיִּקְבְּר֤וּvai.yik.be.RuH6912himאוֹתוֹ֙'o.ToH853in the landבִּגְב֣וּלbig.VulH1366of his inheritanceנַחֲלָת֔וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159,at Timnath-heresH8556in the hill countryבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022of Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,northמִצְּפ֖וֹןmi.tze.FonH6828of Mountלְהַר־le.har-H2022Gaashגָּֽעַשׁ׃Ga.'ashH1608.
