14“Announce itהַגִּ֤ידוּha.Gi.duH5046in Egyptבְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ve.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and proclaimוְהַשְׁמִ֣יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085it in Migdolבְמִגְדּ֔וֹלve.mig.DolH4024;proclaimוְהַשְׁמִ֥יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085it in Memphisבְנֹ֖ףve.NofH5297and Tahpanhesוּבְתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑סu.ve.tach.pan.ChesH8471אִמְר֗וּ'im.RuH559: ‘Take your positionsהִתְיַצֵּב֙hit.ya.TzevH3320and prepareוְהָכֵ֣ןve.ha.KhenH3559yourself,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the swordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719devoursאָכְלָ֥ה'a.khe.LahH398those around youסְבִיבֶֽיךָ׃se.vi.Vei.khaH5439.’

15Whyמַדּ֖וּעַma.Du.a'H4069have your warriorsאַבִּירֶ֑יךָ'a.bi.Rei.khaH47been laid lowנִסְחַ֣ףnis.ChafH5502?They cannotלֹ֣אlo'H3808standעָמַ֔ד'a.MadH5975,forכִּ֥יkiH3588the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068has thrust them downהֲדָפֽוֹ׃ha.da.FoH1920.

16They continueהִרְבָּ֖הhir.BahH7235to stumbleכּוֹשֵׁ֑לko.ShelH3782;indeedגַּם־gam-H1571, theyאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376have fallenנָפַ֞לna.FalH5307overאֶל־'el-H413one anotherרֵעֵ֗הוּre.'E.huH7453.They sayוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559, ‘Get upק֣וּמָה׀Ku.mahH6965!Let us returnוְנָשֻׁ֣בָהve.na.Shu.vahH7725toאֶל־'el-H413our peopleעַמֵּ֗נוּ'a.Me.nuH5971and toוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413the landאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776of our birthמֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔נוּmo.lad.Te.nuH4138,away fromמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the swordחֶ֥רֶבChe.revH2719of the oppressorהַיּוֹנָֽה׃hai.yo.NahH3238.’

18As surely as Iאָ֙נִי֙'a.niH589liveחַי־chai-H2416,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,whose nameשְׁמ֑וֹshe.MoH8034is the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635, thereכִּ֚יkiH3588will come oneיָבֽוֹא׃ya.Vo'H935who islike Taborכְּתָב֣וֹרke.ta.VorH8396among the mountainsבֶּֽהָרִ֔יםbe.ha.RimH2022and like Carmelוּכְכַרְמֶ֖לu.khe.khar.MelH3760by the seaבַּיָּ֥םbai.YamH3220.
